Tesco are expected to make a loss this year, if you are an employee I would consider finding a new job before you are made unemployed by the Tesco hierachy

Do you like Tesco?

Just watch out for very high operating costs...

...these cheaper printers often (and this one does) have just two cartridges ie Black + TriColour so you'll end up paying out for (wasted) ink. So I'd expect you to have to pay more than the £20 just to replace its 2 cartridges [and its in-box cartridges are highly likely to be 'Starter' cartridges with lower-capacity, fewer page output].

Preferable to aim for a printer with 4+ cartridges, and I'd recommend one where you can buy cheap(er) compatible cartridges, which typically you can't for HP. (Personally had Epsons with c50p eBay cartridges for many years; know others with Canons & cheap cartridges too.)

Agree, Epson work out about 50p a cartridge and the printers easily last 3-5 years. Would never consider another make.

I have an HP printer a couple of years old, always used HP ink but now it refuses to accept genuine cartridges, bought a second lot in case the first were duff but got the same.... Useless piece of plastic now even though I know it would work without the restrictive firmware HP install.
They will not get any more of my money.
Epsom next time, I just hope they are as good as people say

You get 100 tesco for each cartridge you recycle with tesco.
plus these inks are £6.99 on ebay for black and white.
They even give you 100 points for those stater cartridges

How do you get the points? I guess it's at larger Tescos? I have a carrier bag full I could cash in...

No lol. Ring tesco up or do it online. They have a recycling part or just type tesco recycle ink then it will come up. You need to write your address down so they can post some envelopes to you. Then send 1 ink in the envelope and it asks for you club card number.

They have to be real ink cartridges not copy.

Has anyone ordered and received one of these? I collected mine from store today but it appears to have the wrong wire in, instead of USB to connect to laptop it has a two pronged wire, anyone else have this problem?

I'm sure this is good value for what it is, but personally I'm never buying inkjet again.
Factoring cost of replacement ink, the price per page is very high, and I seem to need changing cartridges every month.

Compare that to laser printers, which print thousands of pages per cartridge - average price per page is less than 1p and a cartridge costs me £15, and lasts half a year.

The two pronged wire is the figure of eight power cable, excuse me a second....ROFL!...Ok I'm back

You need to consult the manual (see page 4) to locate the USB port >
