Lmao - nah its a good one, decent price. Not the biggest saving in the world but very good for the spec.
Does it make any fan noise? I am a bit sensitive about it since I mainly use it in the library for UNI work.

Had this for a few days now, the fan come one occasionally but it's really quiet. Plenty good for uni work in the library.
Ticks a lot of boxes.

was just about to post this deal and noticed you had, did notice this went up hot 650 degrees voted back in august, so a hot product when it was on offer a little higher then this.
Have gone for it - been looking for a 14" for a while. Most 15" seem to have the extra numberic keypad which I dont like, Most 13" or 15" seem to not have the row of dedicated keys on the right for page up/down/home/end which I use SO MUCH as I can browse alot of the web with one hand then, rather than function keys for multi-handed use. Also find 13" too small for full HD and 15" too big to carry. I also like that this has dedicated buttons on the trackpad - I find that more tactile than just pressing a corner of the pad itself. Thanks OP!
Please could the title be amended to say “includes Office 365 (1 year), as “Office” on its own suggests it could be the one-time purchase.
Deal previously posted by another OP, but source was AO main website

What vouchers ?

Sign up as new customer and get £10.
Some people said they were offered a call back for a marketing survey and given £20 vouchers
Is this the best bang for buck? Need lappy for 16 year old daughter at college. She refuses to use my spare chrome book

It's decent for the money. I have also been looking for my daughter at Uni, a very difficult task. I ended up going above budget due to a list of essential requirements (hers) that were impossible to attain ( in my price budget). If I had my way I would have bought something like this.

I think it's an email code.
Great that it's got an IPS screen. Hot.
PICKME5 takes 5% (£20) off the price till 4th December.

Very good specs. Really disappointed with the rubbish Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals this year as there hasn't been any outstanding laptop deals :/

My exact thoughts...I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger over the last few days, but nothing has really stood out to me in my price range

Was waiting for the annual 20% off everything on eBay...
Finally decided to go for this...but of course they don’t deliver to Northern Ireland
1.47 kg, nice
support.hp.com/gb-…503

Like that it has:
- 512gb NVME M.2 (not standard SSD)
- 1.47kg on a nice small 14" size
- Quad core 3500u CPU: 7851 passmark and the Vega 8 GPU
- FHD IPS screen
- Office and proper W10 OS helps
- Enough RAM to get you going - 8GB

Will be getting this for the wife, ticks all boxes.

Went for it too, got a workaround for them not delivering to Northern Ireland.

And fully agree on the 14 inch screen being optimal.
Does anyone know if this model has the backlit cable connector inside the laptops mainboard, if I decided to replace with a backlit keyboard ?
