Hi all. Last time this deal was direct from Ao.com but now you can get it from the eBay link above and use code PROSPER10 to get 10% off, bringing the price down to £386.

I note that this comes with 1 year subscription to Microsoft Office 365. I sold my copy on eBay for £35 so that's an additional saving there!

--------------------------

Full specs here support.hp.com/gb-…503 and the screen is noted as: "35.6 cm (14") diagonal FHD IPS anti-glare micro-edge WLED-backlit (1920 x 1080)"

Includes Office 365 Personal 1-year subscription with 1TB Cloud Storage.

I note that this laptop has been hovering around £429 at Ao.com for the past few days and was £399 with a voucher code, so this isn't so much a BF deal.

Am surprised it's not flying off the shelves with these specs at this price. Am I missing something?

I think it is the best 14 inch laptop on sale today.
Damp squib BF imo.

Excellent price for a 512GB SSD and IPS screen
This is the one I’ve been waiting for. The extra space on the SSD and the year sub to Office is a bonus too. Thanks man!
I need to buy one today! Been following the threads. This seems a deal!
Quidco 6% off tech at ao?
Wasn't this posted already? I am still torn between this and a chromecast

Quidco 6% off tech at ao?

The quidco deals on ap are very confusing
For anyone who wants to buy an extended warranty, a 3 year care pack (Part No U4819E) is now £41.65 at HP, using HPBLACK.
When I registered with AO, they emailed a £10 off code immediately, which I was able to use against this laptop.

That's great to hear. Thanks
One final question guys. What happens after the 1st year office sub runs out? How much will it cost?

5.99 a month I think.

Yes it was but needed a code to get it down to £399. Using a code you couldn't use quidco to get the extra off.
Think I'm going to get this one for my daughter for Xmas. It's still more than I was looking to spend but the difference between the £299/£349 laptop deals at the moment & this one are massive considering the hard drive size & ips screen.

Chromebook? Or have you got a hack to get a Chromecast running Windows 10?
If you register a new account at Ao.com then they email you a £10 voucher code that you can use immediately.

But can you combine that £10 voucher with the Quidco cashback?
Isn't it 6% off on tech at Quidco. Can't see a 3% off laptop deal on the Quidco site.

Haha. Typo. I meant chromebook

Ram upgradeable? Looks a nice deal otherwise.
I need to buy a laptop for my son for college is this ok or can anyone recommend anything better please just need fast and suitable for college work not gaming
Remembered my other half got a £20 off code to share with friends from her first AO order. So I used it to get £20 off. This is to replace my parents annoying slow refurbed Laptop that’s years old now.
Has been £429 at AO recently
hotukdeals.com/dea…720
Don't be misled by AO that you're saving £170...but still a deal at £30 off

How does this compare?
I know it's 15 inch but is it as good or better?

The screen on that one is significantly worse (not even 1080p) and has only 256GB SSD as opposed to 512. It's a lot worse overall.

I'm no expert but these laptops seem near identical apart from an i5 instead of the Ryzen 5.
I have a first direct card. See firstdirect.visaoffers.eu/signin?welcome=1
It’s offering good deals today like 10% Nike / Debenhams / Curry’s Via cashback. Note with Curry’s need to order the product to be delivered at home. Reserve and pay doesn’t count

Ahhh I'm going to hit the buy button. I've been sitting on the fence with this for ages. I should have bought it when ao had the black Friday code a few days ago knocking 30 quid off.

Ideally wanted this spec at £350. Hmm but what about cyber monddaaayyyyy

Don't we all but I don't think it's going to happen unfortunately. Think the Black Friday laptop deals haven't been great unfortunately. Seems unless it's a smart device or a console everything else it's pretty meh.
BTW my quidco tracked at £7. 98
