Wait for it!!

- Cheaper on Black Friday
- Cold not Full HD
- Was cheaper from Woolworths in 1974
- Cold because Argos staff were rude to me once
- One of these laptops burned down my local firestation

That just about covers the main ones. Did I miss anything?

Storage shit

Any idea if ram is easily upgradable on these?

Check it out onPassmark - CPU is rubbish. scoring 1944.

Think my deal is better value i3 for £20 more with 1TB hard drive, no ssd fitted but has an M2 socket. I bought it for £299 and added an SSD for £40 took 2 minutes then Windows install.

Cracking laptops nice & fast

Quite fancy having a go at that.
Which SSD M2 from eBuyer did you use?

Really need it to have a 100TB SSD and an i9 processor at this price before I will bite.

You bought a 256GB SSD for only £40!?
When buying SSDs what do you need to consider?
When buying laptops is it clearly specified on the free slots etc?
Will adding the SSD HD invalidate your warranty?

256Gb SSD for £40. Must be some rubbish junk. Should be twice that for a decent one.
Changing the HD will not void the warranty, but you wont be covered for any faults that occur related to the HD being changed. HP is better than some, but some wont touch a fault until you put the original HD back in. If you send the laptop off for repair, you must remove the new HD otherwise you wont see it again, but you have the option under data protection to remove the HD before sending it off anyway. In theory they would never know you changed the HD.
