This and all other S models apparently have a cheaper SVA screen not a IPS screen. Not as bad as a TN screen... But not as good as IPS in my opinion. If I am wrong on this please correct me....

At over £500 youre better off getting an IPS screen since there are ones in that price range. For £379 this deal on this page is alright despite the TN screen

Why do they sell a near £400 laptop with only 8gb of memory. Why don't they bump the price up a bit and have 16gb as standard.

It makes no sense.

I can only assume that it's for marketing purposes so they can say they have a sub £400 laptop with latest chip.

I got a HP g245 with these specs but with a 512gb SSD and a IPS screen for £360. So this does not seem that good.
