U call this a deal. LOL
I'm in market for a new laptop, budget £400, so this looks good enough. waiting for the so called experts to suggest something better for general use & light photo editing.

Can someone explain why it's not a deal and looking for laptop for around £400-500 too.
I'd say this is a pretty useful deal for a couple of reasons;
Firstly, it's 8gb memory and a 2tb disk. That's unusual at this pricepoint.
Secondly, it's touchscreen. Again, unusual considering that many people feel that this is absolutely essential for Windows 8 and 10 (I'm not one of those btw, I'm just repeating things I've heard). Particularly on a 15" screen.
its not touchscreen but it IS a great deal - I have been researching all week and going to get one today. @linhang90 why do you say its not?

I think it looks good.My current HP hasn't missed a beat after three years,my previous Acer/Lenovo/Dell all expired just as the warranty ran out.Pc world/currys have finally got their act together,selling decent machines at sensible prices,just beware of them selling you the 'whatever happens' care plan,I purchased cover through HP direct,far cheaper.

I bit the bullet and bought it for the wife.
Shame they couldn't actual fulfil the orders they received... end of line and the expected stock not coming. Really peeved off now that I have missed the chance on the other offers they had!
