but not full HD.

If you're not too fussed about the screen this makes for some good internals for £399 down from £599.99.

Cheers for that. First post in a year or so, so I forgot!

Any reason why this is not hotter?, I think this is a good deal.
Looking to buy this for my daughter for school work, looks not important - important thing is to run word and browse without it seeming like wading through treacle, the i5 seems good performance at this price, solid specs for budget price, doesn't seem to be any higher spec laptop at this price, or am i missing a deal somewhere else.
Any reason why I shouldn't buy?

I posted this deal but I ended up buying this instead :http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lenovo-510s-14-laptop-i5-6200u-128gb-ssd-8gb-ram-479-99-very-383-via-100-credit-2548810

With the £100 you eventually get back making it £380 it's definitely another option. Slightly older processor but SSD rather than hdd and has full HD screen. All depends on what you need it for. I don't need more than 120GB storage and wanted the full HD so went for the Lenovo.

how would this get on with the likes of minecraft - after a laptop for my son and not sure between this and this one http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-510-15-6-laptop-black-10146352-pdt.html

The lenovo has dedicated graphics I think, obviously not top spec though. He wants it for a bit of minecraft/Roblox and editing his Youtube vids. He uses Xbox for main gaming so not worried about it playing Battlefield etc.

thanks
