Has a 1920x1080 full HD screen which is often missing on lower priced laptops. Other than it not having an SSD I think it's not a bad price.

Newer generation laptops have nvme ssds which cannot be used in old ones like this.
I dont trust ssd so good deal this. Apart from no cd drive

What??? you don't trust SSDs? - I've run many since 2012 and never looked back and so far never had a single failure and many millions of other users probably would agree. Sure they can fail and it's unlikely you'll recover any data if the SSD goes dead but most decent brands will last many years and they're so much better in almost every conceivable way compared to a mechanical drive. Mechanical drives have the edge with storage space but for running the OS it has to be SSD.

Have you used an SSD?

nothing says how Pound been massacred since Brexit than Laptop prices .. I bought same Laptop (6th generation) but 8GB Ram not 4GB for exact same price 3 years ago .. Laptop price often go down .. but not anymore thanks for those geniuses who voted to exit

Thanks , I have a Lenovo shite screen laptop and it's so bad it makes it difficult to buy a new laptop. My sony vaio was always ok so some are ok, but which ones.

Pick one with an IPS display at least. Some are better than the others, it is really down to the price.
