1366 x 768

I would have been interested otherwise.
1366x768 definitely ruins this deal somewhat. Not that great a value
Looking for a laptop just to listen to iTunes, emulate N64 games, play some retro games like Stronghold Crusader. The specs sound fine to me. Before I pull the trigger does anyone have any alternate suggestions? I've tried looking myself but the market is just overloaded. These specs won't be too outdated in a few years time will they?

Voted cold. There are laptops on Argos eBay for £199 or well under £300 with i3. This one only has a Pentium.

It might have 2TB HDD and 8GB of ram but with what you'd save on the eBay shop, you could buy 4GB of ram and an SSD to stick into an i3 laptop. I don't see why it costs this much.

I bought a laptop on the Dell outlet with IPS screen, backlit keyboard, touch screen and i3 processor for a few pounds less than this one. Not a good deal IMO.

2TB HDD? That's alot of porn. I think for this price it has to be i3 minimum. You could buy so much more i.e i3, SSD, 8GB RAM and still have money left over.

Better deal for your money.
I agree, this is a poor deal, I really don't see what is the selling point, hard disk size? but even if we ignore the fact you can buy a 2TB external drive for cca 50£ this is way too expensive for what it is, lenovo G, B or Z editions are way better deals in terms of specs...

Any idea what the CPU is in this laptop?
As far as I can tell, the "Intel Pentium n3825u" that Argos claim it has simply doesn't exist.

:edit:

Nvm, found it 3825u, no 'n' prefix.
