Looks good thanks I may get this. Unless anyone else can shed something similar for cheaper? There's no info on the graphics on this.

It'll be integrated graphics. Don't look to this for gaming.

Is this on TV? According to HPs site shows Intel inbuilt card.

Cheers
True quad core processor also ark.intel.com/pro…GHz 4 cores 8 threads HQ demarc give you the clue. it may run a tad on the hot side.

It's listed on the online advert when you click "read more" but I'm thinking it might be wrong as it also says "This notebook’s cold-blooded. With aggressive green accents, its design matches its absolutely savage performance." which is clearly describing a different laptop.

But then this is the same model on HP's website and it says dedicated graphics - www8.hp.com/uk/…758

Legendary performance
The NVIDIA® GTX 950M graphic card and Intel Quad core processor gives you the weapons you need to take on any beast. No grinding necessary.
In overview?
Lot of spec for the money.

Under Display and graphics it just says "Intel® HD Graphics 530"
but then in included software it comes with Unigine benchmark software which would suggest a dedicated graphics chip.
Lots of conflicting info with this lappy

It does ,but as stated above ,the specs on this are all over the place ,i don't think any manufacturer has produced a laptop with full hd ips screen ,I7 6700 qm cpu and GTX950 cpu for 550
Get the shops early or these will sell out
The Maintenance and Service guide suggests that it supports the 950 and 940, so it could well include the 950.
Edit: Yet HP drivers only includes Intel HD....really bizarre conflicting information!

Hot, great laptop for the price. Wish there was another colour than white though.
Reserved. If it has the 950 I'll buy. If not I may leave it.
Ordered for home delivery. If it doesn't have the dedicated graphics I'll just return in store. Worth the risk if the the spec is as advertised.

You're right, it looks like the keys are white but the rest of it is silver, which isn't too bad.

You have a point.

SRP is clearly £550.

In this case, is it really a 'deal'?

No disrespect to op. Trying to understand the implications.

I think the photo shows a white laptop, with just the area around the keyboard being silver, but do check for yourself.

I think Regardless of the RRP,if this laptop really does have the GTX950 gpu ,along with the I7 6700 cpu,Full HD IPS screen etc its a bargain in its own right
Edited by: "webb204" 24th Dec 2015
It's advertised on there ebay page under the refurbished section as having a 950m gpu

interesting only a 10/100 Ethernet adapter

seems good value for $$
I just checked on HP website and it's got Intel HD Graphics 530 and normal DVD drive and not Blu ray.

If you check the comments on here, plenty of people have checked the HP website and it has conflicting info.

The overview on this page says it has the 950M - www8.hp.com/uk/…758!tab=features

It's all a bit of a mess, so I'll probably call them on boxing day.
good deal, looks like integrated graphics to me.
Been looking for a quad core I7 to replace my HP Elitebook. Graphic card is irrelevant to me and this spec has so far been unobtainable to me for under £700. Ordered on click and collect so hopefully it's there on Boxing day, our local Currys is a bit hit and miss due to staff liking to 'reserve' deals for themselves and friends.
I have seen this model at my local currys and for those getting too excited I can 100% confirm that this does not have a GTX 950 GPU, its onboard HD 530 only guys and no bluray.

Still for the money and for the I7 6700Q (actual quad core cpu) it is tempting.

I told Currys about thise conflicting details over a week ago when I was ready to buy £750, they couldn't be bothered to go to the box and check the details for me just quoted what one HP site says. They then took at off sale, strange it's now back on discount for online only. I think I'll wait for a week as they'll all come down, Amazon have some better machines now reduced as of 4pm today.
Is the RAM on this upgradeable to 32GB? If not, any other laptop deals currently going with memory upgradeable to 32GB? I'll appreciate any help.
who needs 32GB of RAM?
Which is better this or the Lenovo-z51-laptop-intel-core-i7-8gb-ram in this thread?
