The HP 22-c0009na 21.5" Intel® Core™ i3 All-in-One PC is part of our Everyday range of simple and reliable PCs. It's great for studying, working on essays, streaming TV on demand, and browsing the web.

All-in-One computer

Get a great computer that saves space with the HP All-in-One. All the important parts are built into the monitor, so you don't have to think about where you're going to put the tower. That doesn't mean it's lacking in power, with an 8th generation Core™ i3 processor, it's more than capable of handling your everyday computing.

1 TB of storage

Store all your family photos, music, movies and more with the 1 TB hard drive. Ideal if you have lots of users in the house and you want to give everyone some space to save and organise their files.

Stand-out design

A snow white colour and thin bezels on three sides of the screen make the HP All-in-One stand out from the crowd. Put it in your home study, the communal living area, or anywhere that works best for you.

Microsoft Office & internet security

This PC doesn't come with a full version of Microsoft Office or Internet Security. But don't worry, you'll find great savings on software with the bundles available on the ‘Top Deals' tab on this page.

How easy is it to upgrade one of these?

Not easy as similar to laptop . But save on space . Same footprint as small monitor . Plus touchscreen let's you use apps in way they are meant to be used .
Would anyone recommend this laptop for a 12 year old who also likes a little gaming x
It doesn't have a touchscreen Sam. I wouldn't recommend it for gaming Sarah, it has minimal graphical capability.

Any desktops?

For a similar budget, have a look at the ebuyer link I added and list by price.

You also have to factor in the cost of a monitor, keyboard+mouse, maybe a wifi adapter etc of course.

Wouldn't touch HP with a bargepole but have some heat anyway op as not a bad deal.
What's the difference with the c0014na which I've already got on another deal? How would I upgrade the ram to 8gb
Anyone recommend a cheaper similar all in one desktop please for children? This is too expensive otherwise would have worked well

Can specify the usage. U can get some pretty good all in one on ebay or 2 in 1 on ebay which might suit their need

Impossible

WARNING!! This is NOT the style machine you’ll get. I alerted this to PC World last week and they’ve still not changed the photo. The c0009na is an ugly chunky older style all-in-one (google it) they’ve used a photo of the higher end / newer model.

The photo is misleading - this isn’t actually the machine on offer
The photo on the original post/link is of this machine...

You should definitely get this, your boy will love it - will be all he needs in a desktop computer. Go into the store to buy though to haggle them down further on a bundle that includes Microsoft Office & Antivirus. Great value for money and not too expensive for a desktop computer. Smockin hot 🔥
I'm looking for a chromebook, I've got my eyes on the acer r11 but would like something with a nicer screen. Does anyone use one that they would recommend?

By usage do you mean how regularly they will use? If so then it won't be much at the moment as they are 2 girls aged 8 and 6. Probably just to mess around and learn how to use a PC really, that's why not looking for anything expensive.

Like gaming and stuff
But I don't think they will require a lot of computing power. Just some simple pc would do I reckon. Personally, I prefer 2 in 1 for the versatility and the s-pen is really helpful for notes and possibly drawing I suppose? Some older model like yoga book would be enough. The older model with the Intel atom processor might even be enough. Not sure about roblox though as haven't play them at all

yes a simple pc would be fine i guess, for web, youtube, some simple gaming like roblox not sure what else children at that age would use a pc for
I have the 23" i5 touchscreen version of this. Wireless is a bit poor, just moved my router to be nearer, other stuff had no issue in the same location. It is single band, 2.4 Ghz, check what this is. You can get a replacement 1/2 card which is dual band and bluetooth. Other than that its a competent machine for everyday use. I don't do gaming so can't comment on that element.I was looking to change to a SSD to move it along a bit, but not got around to opening it up, yet. Mine came with wireless mouse and keyboard.

Do look around still as I believe sometime there are way much better option. I would consider trying to find miix series in which most of people wouldn't like. But I absolutely love the pen function as it helps me with my notes and studies

Worse processor, more RAM.

For the same money I've found this, which has the i3 processor and 8GB RAM:

Better looking machine as well IMO

It's 449.99 more expensive
You can get a Pentium j5005 NUC mini PC for 170, just need to add ram and HD so looking at about 250. Then buy a nice 24 inch monitor for 100. J5005 benchmark is 3000 so perfectly respectable, plus can play things like half life portal no problem

99p more! - I was comparing to the price of the product she linked to.

Compared to the original deal £50, more for double the RAM - still not a bad price for an AiO
