Bought the one without speakers about 5 weeks ago, great monitor, superb colours, liked so much that ive stopped using my 10 year old sony bravia TV and started using this monitor for my pc and PS4

And... NO VESA MOUNT! Would've been Smashing if it did!

I guess there is some aspect with the structural integrity of the frame as most thin bevel cheap monitors don't seem to have them? Still annoying though.
freesync is good but 5ms is bad. audio (while it's likely to be poor on such a thin screen) is a selling point but since it doesn't have wall mount it'll likely be on a surface with room for speakers/soundbar. seems rather poor on connectivity too - you should be able to get a TV with several hdmi's, audio i/o, speakers and 1080p for same price that still has same response time.
lovely monitor, have the 27fw just now for my pc, playing Destiny and it's beautiful .. tempted to get another!
Isn’t this 60hz? Says 75hz in the description.

5ms is perfectly fine and normal for an IPS panel. Unless you're competing in eSports, it won't make any difference.
Was coincidentally looking at monitors in Currys yesterday and spent quite a while with this (both 24 and 27) they were surprisingly good and for £99 it would seem a good investment.
How does this compare to the refurbished Dell monitors of the same size in the Curry's deal (https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/50-off-everything-3259475) for general work use?
Good for gaming?

Just fine. Unless your into competitive eSports, in which you'd want something much more expensive anyway.
Wouldn't waste my money on a 75HZ moniter, would much rather go for a 144hz one.

How is 5ms bad? Don't think most people will notice any difference and 5ms seems like the standard unless it's a gaming monitor

That’s like saying don’t waste your money on a Ford Fiesta, go for a Rolls Royce - price for a 144hz ISP monitor would be drastically more!
hot great product!
Going to view it later in Currys then buy from John Lewis or Amazon!

Currys, have great products to view backed up with a diabolical aftercare service and worse repair or returns policy!

Currys? - MAJOR Worries!

My order arrived today and I'm quite impressed with the product for the price. Spent an hour testing it as a display for my laptop and then with an Xbox connected. Sound is quite good considering its a thin monitor, expected it to be quite bad.

exactly, MS is almost marketing rubbish, the difference between 1MS and 5MS is about the blink of an eye, yet you have people swear that 5MS is dreadful lol, unless your competiting for money in pro gaming its irrelevant
I’m looking for a bigger screen to view my lessons from my laptop. Could I just plug a keyboard, mouse and this monitor into the laptop and use it as the operating system? I’m sorry if this is a really silly question!

If your laptop has tan hdmi/vga you can use it as the monitor.
