What’s the battery life like?
Is this any good for kids home work ,YouTube etc.
Intel Core-series processor and Full HD for £300 looks good to me so I'm voting hot.

8GB RAM and SSD would be great but not realistic to expect all of these things for £300. At least you may be able to upgrade these later (haven't checked) but the screen and CPU can't realistically be changed.

Yep it is more than capable
end of the day when you get full HD u get less memory as laptops manufacturers and distributors are there to make money as well.
Similar spec Leovo 310 available from Amazon for £289 if you want to save £10. Has 6th gen i3 rather than 5th too.
Has been posted about recently from ao.com (no longer available from there)

Hello All,

I have seen this article (please find link below) and I followed the solution to delete the 'HP Analytics Service" from my own HP G4 250 machine.

So if anyone is buying an HP machine, please be aware.

Why is this better for kids then adults?

I got this laptop last black Friday for £275 with 256GB SSD (Laptops Direct), thought it would've dropped lower considering its even older tech now. Sister recently busted the screen, got replacement one for £28 off Ebay and fitted in less than 10 mins looking at YouTube (not really relevant but just in case it happens to anyone else).

It's a bit like my mate Dave square and rectangular with not a lot of go.
