This seems a good deal considering it's full HD and a 256gb ssd, 4gb Ram and an i3 processor.

Have some heat. That is a great price for that laptop with those specs.

It seems a mix of both strong pros and cons. i3 5005 is weak against the 6 or 7th generation and 4 gb DDR3L is also a weak point, but for general use is fine. This price level together with SSD and FHD screen is very reasonable though.

Voted hot but agree with above. Also seems difficult to upgrade - generic model on hp site states '2 SODIMM slots, non customer accessible/upgradeable (models with Intel® Core™ i7-6500U. i5-6200U, i3-5005U processors)

"very reasonable" is an understatement, looked about a month ago for a laptop for my sister with ssd (128), fullhd, and an i3 and cheepest i could find was over £100 more than this, have some heat.

This would be tempting if you could upgrade the memory yourself.

Good price, but beware the screen is awful. Bought one a few months back. Viewing angle is tiny, and not just left-to-right - the slightest upwards/downwards movement of the head also affects colours. If you can keep still it's a pretty good mid-range laptop.

Looks fantastic for under £300. I'd think that, with SSD, the processor would be plenty fast enough for general usage

Hello. dies anybody know if it has a back-lit keyboard? thanks

It's 1366 x 768

How many USB 3 ports are there? Can't seem to find the info. If it's just the one, then no buy for me.

I thought that myself but after a bit of googling of this model number it seems to bring up two different laptops one with and one without full hd.
For instance Laptops direct who have just reduced their price laptopsdirect.co.uk/hp-…OnQ
Confirms FULL HD

Hi
The specs are on
https://www.technoworld.com/deals/hp-250-g5-i3-5005u-15-6-4gb-256-ssd-win-10

It is 100% full HD 1920 x 1020 , 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0

They have a demo unit so the specs are now confirmed.

1366x768 on Amazon, but Amazon also states 4GB of DDR4 RAM...hmm...

Hot.

Good price for the specs.

Although anyone should not expect too much for the full HD screen.

Personally I'd go for the lenovo

Can you guys help me, which one is better HP 15-ay000nm or HP 250 G5?
Same price, same specs(Intel Core i3 5005U Dual Core 2.0GHz, 4GB DDR3L, AMD Radeon R5 M430 2GB)

after searching around I think this is a decent deal. Most people are looking at the 200-250 mark but they all have spinning disks HD, rare to see 256gb SSD at this price.

Have some heat!
