Seems like a good price for i5 and full hd (1920x1080)
Pretty good deal. These laptops aren't sexy at all, but they are okay. The current generation equivalent model would set you back £570.

Screen is TN.

Are these using those new Intel CPUs that just force you to use Win10?
I'm relatively ignorant when it comes to laptops but should one this price have at least a 1GB dedicated gfx card? Not voting but thanks for posting OP
watch out for the dreaded HDD critical error 3F0. just having mine changed under warranty, but make sure you get 2yr warranty is my advice.....

There's a few videos on Youtube for that fix click.
yeah that doesnt always work. Thanks for sharing the love though. :-)
No SSD? Does anyone know if this has the capacity to fit an SSD (or an M2) drive alongside the HDD? If not, how easy is it to replace the HDD with a SSD in this laptop? (i.e. is the drive easily accessible or do you have to take the whole laptop apart?)
I'm not knocking the laptop or price, just want to know if SSD can be easily added.

Yes, you can replace the 2.5" drive with an SSD or install an M.2 SSD (requires HP solid-state board kit) but not both as they share physical location. It is a reasonably straightforward job as long as you are comfortable with that sort of thing. It requires removing the bottom cover.
