How come it's being voted cold when it's quite hard to find i3 processors below £300

Not really. If you compare the processors than you will find it’s worth to pay £50 or just wait few weeks

Usual mob who insist you need extra specs by paying an extra £50-£150

It's a 6th gen processor though. It's outdated hardware in 2018. Maybe if it was 7th gen then it would be heat from me

I don’t mind if you go ahead and buy one. My opinion for everyone else.

If you have an old laptop to trade in, £270.
currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Not to mention that the CPU is at least 20% better.

Buy cheap, buy twice!

At least 20% better? More like 6% in real world tests. To suggest that's in any way 'buy cheap buy twice' is nonsensical.

cpu.userbenchmark.com/Com…381

And you can't say '£270 if you have an old laptop to trade in' as you could do that to reduce the price of cheaper laptops too. Incidentally, a friend tried to use the Currys trade-in option, along with the free data moving - not worth the words they're written in, at least at my local store.
Decent customer that 6006 especially at this price point

So you're claiming youre right for everyone else? Nope

Wow a whole 20% that most people will never even notice and nowhere near 20% anyway that's a made up statistic. 6006 is perfectly usable I've got 3 kids playing games on it right now. People whine & whinge but it's perfectly usable.

Most people don't have something to trade in and if they do it'll likely be old & doesn't meet requirements like dodgy battery, worn out etc

Can't understand why when challenged to find like for like better spec for same money or less you bring up something that has a prerequisite of a previous working laptop, really daft not even close to comparable.

They've offered me £25 via online quote, not £50.
