Seems like a good deal. Mixed reviews to be fair, but it's a well spec'd i5 (litterally 10% slower than the i7 version), 8Gb and 256Gb SSD for £419. Some will want 14" (I would too), but I thought I'd post this for those who like em big and wide. :-p

  • Intel Core i5-8265U 1.6GHz
  • 8GB DDR4 + 256GB SSD
  • 15.6" Full HD 1920 x 1080
  • WIFI + Bluetooth
  • Windows 10 Home

Shame it isnt 14" as I would be all over it. My HP 240 has been flawless for a few years
Shame it isn't 17.3" inches or id be all over it.

Big thumbs up on the fact the touchpad has actual buttons though. Really dislike the single surface ones that most laptops use these days.

Heat from me.... full HD, ssd, 8th gen cpu, seems to tick the right boxes assuming the 15.4" is ok which apparently isn't for the two previous bods

Full HD but a TN panel not IPS. HP cleverly use SVA to describe panel instead of TN to confuse people
Who buys a work laptop when work will give you one??? Theres noway anyone should be buying this for personal use lol... utter poop. Phones are quicker than this thing

Umm maybe those that work for themselves, those retired? School, university.... Not everyone has a free laptop from work and a phone can't do everything, tried doing spreadsheet, word docs, video editing on a phone is hardly productive or practical.
Capable processor, enough RAM and a reasonably sized SSD. I'd buy it if I was in the market for a laptop.
Yeah not bad at all good soexs I've been looking around and the specs usually read out at £500 Plus
