Same printer is cheaper at HP, £34.99 delivered , store.hp.com/UKS…PRN , note HP often do slightly different model numbers for different stores but its the same printer

HP usually has codes kicking around and always decent cashback which makes this Tesco deal cold

Its also £39.99 at Currys (so same deal as this) which was posted the other day and quickly voted cold

from what i gather the 2544 includes the "free" usb cable the 2540 doesnt
if there is a cheaper deal though, then fair enough

i did search before posting but nothing came up

Go for the Canon MG3250, does all the same including wireless printing for £39.99 in Argos. I buy the refill kits which cost me £10 for three sets of black and two sets of colour. I looked at the cost of all printers below £80, Canon was the cheapest to run.

It might just be me...but I can break these in a few weeks.
I find them to be flimsy and very very disposable.

ipads and iPhones won't connect to this.

So you have this printer? What's it like?
Sorry for the blank post on app

Good printer and well worth the money. Bought it the other day from tesco and paid full price. The only difference between this model and the 2540 is the black trim around the buttons is white on the 2540.
Good for a mid range ink jet!

Where do you buy THIS Printers Ink? How much black page cost per page?

-- Argos link
I saw the Argos printer and could I please ask some questions. ?

The link you gave was for Canon PIXMA MG3250

But the other link for ink was for

CANON PG-540 & CL-541???

Also how much pages can you print ? And what's the price per page?

ThanK You

The Canon pg540 is the black cartridge and the cl541 the colour cartridge which the mg3250 uses. Std price per black print on std cartridges is high, But if you use the refill system it's about a 10th the cost so >.5 a print.

Had a look at stats on trusted reviews, 2540/2544 is 4.38p black and 10.18p colour and Canon mg3250 is 3.68p black and 7.94p colour. Both Inc 0.7p paper cost.

got this over weekend. easy to set up.

Be careful when choosing a cheap printer - the amount you pay corresponds with the quality of the prints. Plus, Tesco will not accept a returned printer if the complaint is about the quality of print.
We've returned two <£50 printers, one Kodak, one Canon, because black printed in a purple/grey and general print quality was poor. My advice, avoid Tesco, and avoid cheap printers.

Dies anyone know if this is compatible with Windows 8.1 as opposed to Windows 8? Thanks

Depends how much you want to print. A cheap one will do for me as long as the ink is reasonably priced.
