why don't they bung in a proper Linux distro instead of that weird freedos crap?
Any of Ubuntu, fedora, red hat, Suse etc would do, freedos? I mean come on!
Hehe. That "Windows 10" product key - who doesn't love a bit of quick "Devilry" eh?

Satan's choice of OS, most definitely...

Is there any way you can put a 2.5 in Drive inside this too?

Ebuyer keep drip-feeding supplies - looks like they have lots of these. Regarding putting a 2.5 drive in , there may be a slot inside (the ssd is an m.2) but you may need to purchase a hdd header (a connector for the hdd to motherboard). Neeed to see a manual really.
OR buy one of these 1TB HDD and put in an external box...
hotukdeals.com/dea…750
£24 + £5 for a box to put it in.

EDIT: manual here h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg…876
Should be space for hdd here (**no promises**). See pic. May need to buy hard drive bracket L20455-001 and hard drive connector board L20454-001

Is this any good for school, basic games and photo editing? Thanks.

Yes, it's a very capable laptop with a great processor, if you are going to be using it for school I would recommend installing Windows 10 on it, the link for it is in the description and can be done via USB drive

This got me going
Bargain for the specs. Can't really get it why some good laptops are £200-300 and some other with slightly better specs or better form factor are £700+.
Hot!

Great price, worth noting this is a TN screen so viewing angles not great, other than that spot on budget machine
It looks like Ebuyer have joined the" put £20 on the price" club just because there's an eBay code going
Is there any way you can put a 2.5 in Drive inside this too?
Cheep and cheerful!
Thx order

Thanks, OP! Ordered. Yes, Ebuyer keep drip-feeding stock to show 10 available. Great price, though!!

I paid the extra £2 to get it delivered by Friday. Also, possible 1% with Topcashback, and nectar points.

For the price, yes it's decent. You'll need to stick windows 10 on this but its perfectly capable for homework and photo editing. Gaming is going to be quite limited but at this price no complaints.
just ordered , i needed a basic laptop since starting a new job as the supplied laptop is crap and way to restricted on what i can do
Excellent price!!
Great thanks ordered
Anyone have an idea of battery life ?
Would this be good for normal school stuff? Word/Excel - browsing the internet etc?

It's unforgiveable having the trackpad so off centre....

Anyone else finding the discount code not accepted? Putting in Paid20 gives "This code can't be applied to your order."

Its designed that way. This "laptop" has a full size keyboard. Its in the centre of the main qwerty part of the KB.
Where are the Freddos?

Because someone would complain they're favouring one distribution over another.

Yeah it would work really fast for that.
Anyone know if this is single of dual channel memory?
Ordered. Looks like a great deal. Thanks for posting.
Is this the same laptop from the previous ebuyer deal?

Try PAID20 not Paid20. Generally, codes are case sensative.
If you need a basic machine save some cash and put Linux on it.

I prefer windows but all you need is a web browser and an office app then it’s perfect.
Great price. Thanks Op. Heated and Ordered.
Can anyone tell me which website I can download Microsoft office from? Cheers
