Seeing as this fits a HP 3050A I should be fine but up til now Ive always bought HP301 compatable cartridges. Never heard of this model number...

Well spotted - have just ordered one

Shame that the coloured inks are still so expensive in xl

3rd party/unofficial ink works just as well for the fraction of the price. I never believed it until I tried it and will never buy overpriced official ink again. The only bad thing is there are so many different ones out there so results may vary.

Do you know any third party supplier cartridges that works well?

Thanks

In my experience they don't. But links / info would be nice

HP 301 is a duel ink and the HP 364 is a quad ink so won't fit in

Expired, prices have gone up

It is a lot cheaper to get a whole set of compatible ink for less, make sure they have chips
I have used a lot of different types including refillable, which are great but a lot of faffing, just better to get disposable

My compatible ink cartridges say non genuine when I use them in my printer. Do you know if they may have updated these to stop that?

I buy compatible inks from 7dayshop - never had a problem. This is the cartridge no. that I use in my printer and rarely use HP ink.

HP 301 is a duel ink and the HP 364 is a quad ink so won't fit in

But it lists that model of printer?

says 12.49??

Its always been like this, if it appears more than once, there is an options in settings to turn it off. Alternatively depending on printer there maybe a web page (same as the IP address of the printer) where you can find the setting.

The only way I found to turn this off permanently is to trick it by using a chip from a HP cartridge, they have cottoned on and changed the chip to prevent this. I still find the new OEM self-resetting chips really good as they also tell you ink level. But for most compatibles it is best to turn this off a. stops sending information to HP and b. stops unnecessary auto-ordering if your account is set-up for that
