any cheap ink for this?

May want to mention its a scanner too.

Just brought this, excellent printer. Print straight from I phone and kindle.

9 pounds ink on ebay

Anyone know of compatible devices, I can see it works with iPhone and am guessing iPad too, but would it also work as well with a Samsung galaxy tab 2 for example (ie android devices) ?

It had an email address so it will work with any device that you can email from

It also has a web interface for scanning

Lovely printer

I have this printer. I don't print much but when I do, this does the job no prob and the scanner isn't half bad either. Printing from my tablet and phone is a nice plus.

Genuine ink £16 on Amazon and refill ink less for black and colour. Not bad for a basic all in one. Not for the heavy users.

Yes. Just download the HP eprint app and it'll detect the printer on the network. You can even send an email to it once its set up if u want Or u can use Google cloud print. All work fine.

I print from my nexus 10 all the time.

Looks decent enough. Same price on Amazon too.

We have a higher spec one and love this printer. So easy to set up, is compact as paper sits in the bottom try and I can print from any wireless item easily.

HP inks - most expensive fluid in the world. Good specification printing machines at very good purchase prices but high running costs.

Hey there G.Man....thanks for that, sorry for being a bit thick, but I can understand that this would fine at home on the home wifi network. But my other half has a clinic which does not have broadband, so would she still be able to print from her phone or tablet ?

apparently it does come with ink according to the Q&A on argos, can someone confirm?

You will need to have some sort of internet connection. So if you have 3G/4G data plan on your phone (or tablet with a sim card slot) you can still send a file via email to the printer and it will print.

Does anyone know the difference between the hp envy 4500 and 4502?? Thanks

I've been trying to find this out too. From googling they appear to be the same

The dimensions are different. HP envy 4500 is larger.

The dimensions are the same for both.
After a conversation with HP, they say the Envy 4502e is the 'retail' version supplied to other stores/outlets, it is the same as the Envy 4500e sold by themselves. Couldn't get any other reason from them for the model number change, at least, as helpful as they were the customer support team were clueless to any other reason!

I brought this printer from staples 3 months ago and is by far the best printer ive had. Inks last ages
