why the repost?

Because the other one still says £419 in the title.

eBuyer are also selling the same model 'ex-display' for an extra £15 - that's a real ]bargain ;-)

LOL, yea. I would be sick if I had got that one by mistake!

They do have a slightly lower spec 6735s here ebuyer.com/pro…888 £20 cheaper than the other in the OP. They knocked £10 off it today.
Personally I think it is worth the extra £20 to get the one in the OP.

just bought one - very good deal. Only reservation is the graphics card, but for £399 / £409 with next day delivery, it's an outstanding deal for the level of spec.

I think the graphics are OK for the price, not great but OK.

If I was being picky, I would have preferred an Intel cpu but a 2.1 Turion is not to be sniffed at either.

I am thinking about buying this laptop for uni in september, just wondered if those who had bought one could answer some questions for me,

Is it ok for word processing or doing general work on?
I would also like to use it for internet browsing and listening/burning music, would it work well for that?
I would also like to play games such as the Sims or the Sims 3 once its out, would i be able to do this on this laptop?
It says its a notebook, but I thought this was smaller with less memory, but this seems like any other laptop, could someone please explain this to me?

I'm really bad and confused about what sort of laptop to get, any other recommendations would be appreciated : D

Thanks for your help!
