me thinks hot firstly cos its a core2duoand secondly cos its decent HP build quality.

Business quality standards for £200. Great price and find.

exactly my point i dont know about you but windows 7 costs say 100 quid putting the overall price at 300 ish? thats alot considering some posted recently with windows 7 built in.

used to have one of these as work PC. Good laptop and built like a tank. But I'd be concerned by the refurb (i.e. secondhand) nature of these and "can't guarantee battery life" statement in description. I killed my battery in < 2 years. Not voting either way.

cold.

So helpful.

I actually think that it is a hot deal for the price with a core2duo processor. I would suspect that these are ex lease business laptops.....particularly as we have just sent a batch of them back from our place as they are end of lease!

this is ugly but much better than shiny new windows 7 HP/compaq laptops. The build quality is quite good.

A core 2 duo and 2GB RAM will run vista fine, especially on a laptop...No one's expecting to be playing games at x16AA.
