Bargain, hot.

pay 19 quid extra for a very good review camera comes with lithium battery

Nikon Coolpix L22 Digital Camera for £49...... Collect in store

AA batteries > lithium batteries if you travel in long stretches
a 15 minute uniross charger is only £12 on amazon, potentially better deals elsewhere.

i hate camera without charger......in other words it uses AA,which is a downside....any way the price is hot hot hot

Something of a deal at this price but really HP cameras don't have a good reputation and AA cameras are generally cheaper anyway. One for the kids to learn with or for the undiscriminating holiday snapper I think. If you want good results you probably need to look elsewhere.

Not bad reviews to be honest. Toying with buying this as a kid's camera for my daughter

Had the worst experience ever with HP and their customer support..if something goes wrong, you're screwed...Never buying anything HP ever again.

I hate devices that have to have a charger, I'd rather use AA, so i only have one charger.

^^^^^

X2..... AA's are far preferable, I already have a charger and loads of AA rechargeables to use in game controllers, RC cars, kids toys so using them in a camera is a massive bonus and saves having to use/carry yet another charger around. And batteries are available EVERYWHERE.

I have one of these bought from same store when they were £10 extra.

sometimes it doesn't switch on and i have to remove the batts for 30 secs or so and then put them back in again.
works ok after that until it does it again.
anti shake isn't very good, certainly not as good as my casio z1050.

hp make some of the worst cameras ever, make kodak look superb......seriously save your money and avoid

had 3 hp cameras - just for ebay.....1 lasted 1 week, then other 2 2-3months each....moderate use

if you want a cheap camera that takes aceptable pics, then id go for a samsung....or pay a little more for a canon, panasonic or casio exlim...nikon cheap cameras are not great so avoid them......but avoid like the plague anything from kodak

I had an HP 707 - super little camera. I "upgraded" to an Olympus 1030 ... but in many ways I preferred the HP. The main feature that I miss is the VIEWFINDER. I often have to "guess" what picture I am taking as I cannot see the image on the LCD screen !!!

Any recommendations for a small camera with a decent viewfinder?

This may be worth a look and it's currently at (claimed) half price. I'm not familiar with the camera but Canon are generally highly rated and there are few compacts with a viewfinder anyway. Maybe this is a hot deal in its own right?
