Chromebooks don't use Windows operating system they use Chrome OS so what you are saying is false about it swallowing all the 32GB. 32GB on a Chromebook is perfectly usable as you use cloud storage to store documents etc.

Even at this price I don't think this is good enough! The A4 chip is underpowered even in a Chromebook. The A6, imo, is the very minimum

Had the N3350 version of this. Loved the keyboard and battery life. Not sure how this one compares.

A6 is pain as well.
Can't say I know much about computing but when looking at reviews for best chromebooks this was coming up 3rd, 4th or 5th place on a few different review sites. In my opinion I got value for money because I cant find it at this price anywhere else with a years warranty. It was higher ranked than some of the more expensive versions and cheaper to buy.

"Great for gaming" LOL no, just no. A literal potato would be better.

I've just looked the processor up on Passmark @ 1947, this is way faster than the majority of chromebooks and should fly.

Reviews of HP Chromebooks with the A4 chip set don't rate the performance at all. Remarks like only being able to have one or two tabs open without stuttering are common

It isn't a bad price for this Chromebook.

I don't rate the performance with the A4 chip, the Intel version is much better.

That being said, I've voted hot because it is a good price for this device and not because it doesn't work for me. That's what this site is all about. Getting the best deal for a particular item which, after all, is what this is.

This site is primarily about making money. That's its primary purpose and the nature of affiliate marketing but it's nice when people help each other.

Yes that's what I thought too. Thank you for your comment.
Not bad, my bite point for a chromebook is around £100
Been looking for a laptop for the kids... but have yet to find a post on here that doesn’t get ripped to shreds!
Don’t know much about laptops and don’t want to spend a fortune. I live in hope! 🙏🏻

If so I'd just wait a bit, maybe a year.

Sorry, my mistake, I was thinking of those crummy Surface jobbies with only 32gb

Clearly never heard of stadia, steam play or any other technology?
