Cheaper here for ]£186.82

Not a very good deal if the first commenter has found it cheaper elsewhere ;-)

Plus it's not a very good mini laptop anyway.

Plus it's not a very good mini laptop anyway.

Agreed. 1.5 hour battery life means you'll always need to be near a plug socket.

I think these mini notebooks will be around £150 after xmas.

To be fair its not a bad laptop, build quality is far better is better than any other mini notebook on the market!...In fact i challenge anyone to find anything better in terms of quality. Sure battery is life poor but a 6 cell optional one is also available to takes it life upto 3 1/2 hours approx.

HP are getting rid of the VIA-based units asap so they can introduce the Intel Atom units. These are already out in the US so will be here in a matter of days...

I liked the look of this, but, after checking out some online reviews will be giving it a miss.

It apparently struggles with full screen video, and is very jerky....

Atom awaits!

great even better at £186.82.

Not sure where you would get a better mini-note for that price

Having big fingers I love the full size keyboard andI like the aluminium case loads too.

I couldn't find any confirmation that the Atom had been adopted and given the recent £100 drop of this one, due to the poor performance of the chip, whichever format they use is likely to sell for closer to £300.

I assumed that Axxxr had already researched it cos he was interested in buying one.
You did better research than me buddy
Did you buy one?

The Atom based HP netbooks are $399 net of sales tax in the USA with a 3 cell battery so they will be closer to £300 after VAT here. Initial reviews suggest that they are not good value for money compared with the competition.

Well i've ordered mine from it247.com.

Thanks for that Axxxr

I saw it at PC World today for £450.
Great looking machine and certainley not worth it's original price, because of it's slow chip.
But £186 is for nothing for it.
