not bad, but i would either stick more ram in it if poss or upgrade to windows 7 or downgrade to xp - as 2gb seems a bit low for vista, amd chips arent much cop in laptops tho

Weird in that they were £309 dual core last xmas at PCWB

FYI the M780G chipset means it has a Radeon 3200 GPU in it.

The Sempron SI-42 is an appauling cpu =/
I'd spend £50-75 more and get a *much* better spec. machine.

Don't agree! Have you ever used the sempron? I have and it is quite fast for Office work and surfing, it's not a games machine and not ment to be.

I would prefer a Compaq C60 series though, which has a much better housing, keyboard and mouse pad.

Vista is outdated and W7 cost extra (with all the hassle of upgrading it yourself), so this makes this offer cold.
