Looks great for the price, but is this another "buy it for the CPU alone" jobby?

I haven't really kept up with I7 models but I'm guessing by the model number this is not as good as the last HP refurb deal:

this any good for light gaming if added a graphics card?
This is a rather old PC, maybe 2011. The i7 2600 came out in Q1 2011 so this is old technology.

It is also a "business" machine rather than a "home" machine

Being a business machine, and depending on case design and shape, you may not be able to get decent graphics card in there.

From what I can see no HDMI, only a 160GB hard drive, no USB 3, no wireless etc

The only thing "new" about this is Windows 10 (you may have trouble getting Windows 10 drivers for this PC also)

Buy this and you are buying old technology.

This is a great PC, very powerful. Picked mine up on eBay a while back for Lightroom and Handbrake. Works well, although I've upped RAM to 16GB and added a load more storage.

Perhaps a little pricey here given the small HDD and lack of RAM.

so this is old technology.

"old" does not mean "slow"

This goes for any cheap desktop.
If you were to put a few extra hard disks into this, would it be any good as a back up / file storage device?
