Just saw this at my local Aldi at the Metrocenter, Gateshead.

Reduced from 99 pounds to 49.99

Network ready, seems like a good deal.

They had 7 left when I was there.

Hot from me - I posted a deal for these 3 months ago when they were reduced from £146 to £99. At £49 this is an absolute bargain.

As I said in the OP.

It's in my local store, Metrocenter Aldi, Gateshead.

It may well be in other Aldi stores, it may not.

I have no idea if the deal is on in other stores, it could well be.

There is no link for it.......

It will be a local level reduction

gosh, ok until you need inks .........

and only £130 for replacement … and only £130 for replacement tonerhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Multipack-Compatible-Cartridges-Laserjet-Remanufactured/dp/B002S2PIZK/ref=pd_nr_ce_8?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

And those are refurbished toners!:w00t:
I think HP is getting like Lexmark.. El cheapo printers and mega pricey carts...

I just went back to Aldi to buy two.

Forgot it closed at 4pm on Sundays in England.

Figure it's cheaper to buy two, throw away one when it's finished or ebay it.

Cheapest I found replacement toner is 40 quid a pop.

or 68 quid for a refill kit for all colours

I think you will find that they are only small filled toner cartridges and not a full set.

went to my local Aldi and it had gone UP from last week, now £149, was £99.
looks like half price is a local deal. :x

Aldi tend to have the nationwide deals advertised on their website, then if they have anything left they sell them on a local store basis. My local one has a basketful of battery chargers for £2.50 or something, but no sign of any printers.

And I agree with yellowplum, it might seem cheaper to buy two and throw them away when you're done, but the toner cartridge will be half empty. The replacement cartridges will be twice as expensive, but with much greater print yields.

Wow I was going to the Metrocentre tonight as well, but the Swalwell mafia will probably have the other 6 on ebay already! :whistling:

There were still 6 or so left in store tonight,

decided against buying one and will just pick up a cheap B&W one with extra toner instead.

HP could give away printers. cold.
