Voted hot, a whole PC for that money is brilliant. Should be a great enabler for those on a tight budget.

Quite a few old budget base stations on there if you just want to get on with basic computing tasks

Only a 30 day warranty and no operating system.

So out dated 512 ram will be very slow

These must be at least 6 years old as we're now replacing the PCs that replaced these at work oO

XP Pro is included, but 1Gb of ram is the minimum you really need to run SP3

It says

Windows XP Pro is pre-installed

Plus for a starter pc for a young child it's cheaper than a V-Tech

I have a few of these - even with 4Gb they are slow! 2 SATA connectors & 2 IDE headers though...
I stopped using mine after the kids flicked the PSU voltage selector from 240 to 110 - watch out as the PSUs are that old! They don't auto sense as most now do, but they do have SATA power connectors as well as standard molex...
Oh and they are an AGP equipped motherboard - limiting your graphic card choice (I tried running Windows 7 and IIRC the onboard NIC wasn't detected and you can only run the onboard graphics with generic drivers)

Extremely false economy buying this.

While this one is double the price its 325235325times better and no one will commit suicide using it hotukdeals.com/dea…555

Cold. These computers are ancient, they're ferociously power-hungry, the whole experience will be slow, nasty, pokey and noisy, and you would be far better off either buying a 2nd hand Core2Duo laptop for around the same price, or, if you really must, one of these ancient rubbishy computers for £40 refurb'd from a local vendor.

2005 Spec PC's EPIC FAIL!!!!!

Good deal if you have hardly any money, like a lot of families I know. I know some wiithout a PC and could not afford this either.

ukez, 2005 PC, yes, but I think the price reflects that. I'm voting hot.

I got P4 2.66 back in 2001 from aldi. Motherboard died and manage to get a new one. My point is that this Pc is 10years old. I moved on, after nearly killing it for 2nd time. Ok for the money, but im sure you could find better specs for not allot more. Try freecycle, or what ever its called these days.

Out dated crap

My smartphone runs faster than this!
