Really bad printer, i bought one last week, very slow, sucks in extra paper all the time then stops and makes you reprint the whole file again.

Not wifi, soon be obsolete

To be fair... the entire printer costs less than many ink cartridges...

Also, one of my family members has used one of these for 2 years without issue... pretty good value for money I'd say

It still needs to be fit for purpose though and as ink is so expensive it's a false economy to buy a cheap printer that wastes ink.

One of my family members has used it for 2 years without issue and ink is actually very cheap. Also the reviews suggest plenty of people find it perfectly acceptable value and 'fit for purpose'

The thing is £20... Jesus. Don't know why I bother posting deals on this site anymore

It was only one person's experience as with your family member and that's not enough to give any meaningful info on reliability.
You seem to be all over the place on ink pricing!

Even if my report from a family member is anecdotal... what about the the LITERALLY HUNDREDS of reviews, including many for this printer when it was sold at a higher a price? Seems a little more valid than your opinion to be honest.

I mentioned printer ink once, quote: "ink is actually very cheap"... how is that 'all over the place!'?

Oh and btw, feel free to post your printer deal then if you can find better.

I am not knocking this deal or the printer just bemused by your attitude in response to someone saying that theirs was malfunctioning..
They just gave anecdotal evidence as did you.
You seem rather touchy about anyone saying something that could be interpreted as being negative.

Either you are back-pedalling or I misinterpreted what you were trying to say with your previous comments.
Either way idc.
Time to move on.

Thanks, I do feel free to post a printer deal and already improved one printer deal by pointing to other sources where it was cheaper.

Anyway, it's always good to see an old skool USB printer as they are good value for those that don't require one with networking.

It's worth fanning the paper before loading. That may sort out any problems. Curiously, I bought two identical very cheap laser printers and had nothing but trouble with the first. When the toner ran out, I moved over to the second, which has behaved perfectly.
