When I used to work in Sainsbury's many years ago there used to be crazy clearances like this however very rarely were any left on the shelf as staff used to get first picks at them. Good luck

Store manager: "I'm not paying WEEE to dispose of this, give it to the next person who walks in"
Electrical counter clerk: " we can't sir , we have to sell items"
Manager: " put it for a penny, that'll get rid of it"
Clerk: "won't that cause chaos on HotUKDeals though?"
Manager: " I don't care, they will come and buy other items anyway"

I wouldn't even give HP a single penny following all their non-consumer tactics, DRM, can't scan if you haven't got ink, etc.

    Did you get 1?

Yes Well in fact I got 2 at first on self scan but there were some other HUKD searchers so I let them have 1. Assistant said that they thought that they had locked them going through at this price! Thank you! Apparently there was 4 first thing.

I use Instant Ink and it's annoying because they charge you for alignment pages and test prints. So you waste credits when things go wrong. The one good thing about it is if you barely use your printer the cheaper plan only works out about £12 a year and you're basically guaranteed unlimited working ink so I've been sent replacements when ink dries up etc. which is better than buying £20 cartridges. I hadn't tried Ringwood though was the one i missed - didn't know there was a store there as didn't come up on any nearby stores results.

This result is via the COLLEAGUE stock holding app, not by the Sainsburys website for customers

EBay will be flooded with these. Instead of giving these to greedy folks, how about helping some charities Sainsbury, a very much missed opportunity

I wondering if the only one in store. In current climate wouldn't go searching, heads or tails get a bargain if can or get something else...

Exactly, I was in Tesco's last week and got 5 large chickens @ 10p each and stuck them in the freezer. Not worth posting as a deal as by the time I was leaving the shop they were all gone. Great deal if you're in the right place at the right time though but deals like this aren't even worth the wild goose chase.

Sainsburys always brings on unbelievable deals just after new year.... I remember a few years back there was a Windows tablet for £40 I think it was... This item was worth about £120 anywhere else....

Found the deal on Hotdeals so decided to head out to Sainsbury’s which was 12 miles away... sort of got the feeling I'd be disappointed when I got there.... coz it was a regular thing that use to happen when you go for a product instore instead of online when shopping on Hotdeals .....

I looked at the shelf and couldn't believe my eyes 👀.... As stated on here the product was sat their on the shelf at the price promised....

It was one of my happiest shopping experiences ever!... It's always worth checking, even if it does turn out to be a disappointment with no stock.

Id have thought about it if they gave me at least 6 months instant ink and some paper

Of course it was in such a way that would make repairing it impossible without destroying the printer. Of course I found out after buying a full set of ink cartridges after assuming it was out of ink like the printer was telling me. Of course this deal would show up one day after I bought and took in its replacement. But well done to everyone who managed to get this for 1p. At least the ink cartridges don't cost more than the £50 price for the printer (unlike my old printer).

I suggest looking for a cheap colour Laser.
Cheaper to run, more reliable, less maintenance, faster to print, better quality output for most jobs.
Once you've had a laser you'll never consider an inkjet again.

Desperately need a printer for kid's study. So sad @RakMeh91 ...Many thanks for the info? Do you know it is available in any west midlands region?

Wish I had seen your post before now as would have picked you one up. I got one early this morning and one was still left on the shelf (didn't want to be greedy). On the drive home, I decided my old printer maybe has a bit more life in it and gave the one I purchased today to a neighbour who recently lost his job and is struggling. He was so pleased so it has made me happy today if I helped him just a little bit.

Lady at the till ended up calling the manager who refused to sell it saying it was an error. Showed him the pictures from here but there was no convincing him 😔😔

I would send an email to sainsburys customer service to complain about this and ask them to honour it now. Once a Tesco customer service lady denied me something that I had a right to, I complained to Tesco via email/ chat and they noted it for action as well as gave me a voucher for the item

Weird how this costs less then a plastic bag

Ah, nice, this is reminiscent to how it was a bit over 15 years ago, living in NY back then, whenever I ran out of ink I would get a new "free after rebate" inkjet. 😁
After the free after rebate thing dried out, I just switched to a Brother laser which runs for almost nothing and is so much better at printing what I want anyway 😜

I've got 40. Selling for 2p. Double my money.

If ever there was a deal to justify the saying. ' It's cheaper to buy a new printer , than replace the ink '.
