For 9 quid more would definitely get a new one with two years warranty.

I got my 3634 version not dissimilar to this beginning of last month instore Tesco, Liverpool City center reduced from £49 to £15! Working fine most of the time had the odd hiccup were it wouldn't print wirelessly , just had to restart it!
hotukdeals.com/dea…780
It's £24 instore in Tesco at the moment ! I brought it last week for that price
Cold. Inkjet printers should be given for free since the ink costs (and profits) are so high compared to laser printers.
I guess this doesnt include ink?
Good deal, especially for an all in one with wireless scanner. Worth it for that alone.
What's the cheapest place for replacement inks?
I wouldn't want to buy for £20 2nd hand with no ink when you can buy brand new with the ink for £9 more?
Does anyone know if it includes a free Instant Ink subscription trial? If not, the 3636 is £29.99 from a variety of places and includes 2 months free instant ink subscription (which can be increased to 4 using various codes when signing up).

Yes it does. I have one of these. Happy with it except the price of the cartidges. Considering a subscripton after my present ink runs.out.

Then do what I did and get the one with free ink for life, only 15 pages a month, but I do less than that anyway, it's 15 sheets too, not coverage so I just print out full a4 pix to use up the monthly allowance

Hey up M8,did you get any ink with that one? see them in skeg same price but dammed if I could read anything about ink,and was in a rush!
Cheap printers mean expensive ink carts (even replica cartridges). Bit of false economy.

might not be quite as bad if it came with the instant ink trials.

JL comes with ink worth £18, Ebay doesn't - John Lewis is far better value.

That's because is:

Never Knowingly Undersold
HP Instant Ink all the way
I have one of these printers (paid £35 about 18 months ago). It works pretty good, I don't print a great deal so just buy genuine cartridges when I need one and I can find an offer. My local computer shop will refill your cartridges if you take them in, so might try that next time.

Tell us about that mate?

It seems to be limited to certain HP printers, but have a look at the HP 3730 on PC Worlds site and there a pink "free printing for life" image. I was a bit sceptical, especially when the leaflets in the box mention nothing of it, but it was fine. Basically, you are offered something between 3-12months free ink depending on the printer, you can go on the top £8 per month package to print a couple of hundred, then when the offer ends, just drop to the £1.99 per month which will get you around 50 prints a month. HOWEVER, with this one, you can select FREE FOR LIFE (of the printer obviously), ONLY WHEN YOU SET UP, it seemed to suggest that you once you move off the plan, you 're off it (I guess to prevent abuse?).

Anyway, mines been faultless, compared to the crappy Epson it replaced, the quality is fine, its very quiet (and even has a quieter mode if the kids are in bed), but on top quality its slow, but who cares? The point is that its 15 sheets, be it one pixel or a full high quality A4 photo, that's one sheet, it does have to be connected to your internet so it can "talk" to HP and order the ink when it needs to (you don't order them yourself), but that's needed anyway to print wirelessly from a non wifi device. You have to give your credit card and they will charge all excess prints at 10p each, but even that's not exactly a rip off, I'm chuffed with it, now the kids are starting their GSCE's I'm expecting to maybe move up to the £1.99 package, but I think that's decent value too

You can use a generic code and a referral code to get two months extra when signing up.

Rats I already signed up, I got the 15 pages per month free (for lifetime of the printer) so I'm guessing if I try to change anything it will change my plan and I won't be able to go back to it since it said only at printer setup?
