Just short of £26 I paid for black ink for my HP last week I'd have just bought a new printer had I known.

There was a similar version to this (the Deskjet 3636) which was the same price from Currys a couple of days ago, now back up to £29.99.

heat, off to see if i can snag one, thanks op.

Cheers op ordered

cheers

What's the difference between this one and the 3637 version. They are both same price but 3637 is a more expensive one?

bought the 3637 version from argos today as both same price - presume higher model number better, only diff in listings I could see was the 3632 states 'accessory needed' where as 3637 doesnt. Dont know what accessory:
Connectivity:
USB port.
USB.
Wireless/WiFi enabled.
Apple AirPrint.
Email Print.
Mobile print enables printing direct from your smartphone or tablet through brand specific apps.
(accessory required).

FYI could not get 3637 to find the printer either on wifi or usb so it wouldnt install drivers (even from cd) - but solved as my print spooler service was disabled for some reason, set to automatic and started it; retried install and all ok. Think it was just my PC tho.

Just bought tonight the 3636 from Argos for same price !

V happy with it

Thanks Op got the 3637 model with my £10 voucher also free delivery

great price! Ive seen previous printers on here with longer 'free ink' periods....does anyone know if those codes will work with this printer?

The 3637 is duplex according to the Argos spec, which has sold it to me at £22.49

Does it come with cartridges ? and what is instant ink ?

higher serial number doesn't mean better model. sometimes it just varies in color, ports, comes with free cable or accessories etc.

How does instant ink work....if i am on 50 pages per month plan....do … How does instant ink work....if i am on 50 pages per month plan....do they send cartridges every month or does the printer send a report to them 50 pages printed etc.

Printer reports to HP how many pages you printed. You pay extra for excess pages printed within your billing period. They send you inks when the printer informs HP that your currently installed inks are getting low. For the initial free months select 300 pages/month plan and then downgrade to whichever one you want before the end of free period.

Thank Chaykin. You managed to beat me to it mate. Just watched some video on their webpage and also on youtube to tell me more about it. Your description is still more informative than the videos(Honestly). Thanks once again Mate.

Can I cancel my contract with HP after the 2 months and then just buy ink when it runs out. Also how much is it per month after the free trial?

Ohhh so we can get 3 months free trial which I can see on the link you provided? rather than 2 months which is stated in the picture posted by the OP

just ordered on CC with Argos, cheaper than buying replacement cartridges for my Canon

Just got my printer. I wont be printing very much but is it worth me signing up to the instant ink offer straight away or wait until my cartridges have run out?

Damn. Found out my office ISP provider has blocked devices joining the network so can't joint Web Service do can't sign up to Instant Ink

Now up to £34.99
