HP instant ink @15 pages a month = £0. If you are OK with reasonable photo quality then this is a good secondary printer for A4 photos.

The picture says 2 months free trail, of what?

There is another code that gives 2 months ink on the other HP printer thread

Apparently if you cancel the subscription after 2 months, HP do not allow you to use the leftover ink and therefore you need to buy your own ink

..... The Sammy Davis Jr school of Taps

Hang onto your receipt ! - I've had experience of a few of these lately and they had to go back - not the most reliable of printers to say the least.
Best value and quality printer ATM IMHO : argos.co.uk/pro…364

This may sound extreme, and it was, but this my my 3 month old hp printer that I lost my temper with and I broke and threw out only of the window yesterday!. I dreaded having to print anything, it just didn't work, things are soo easy nowadays for this type of thing to JUST WORK. I downloaded the app, expecting it to be flawless, if I needed anything, switch the printer on, get linked with my phone via WiFi, then print at my hearts wish.

With that one, the printer would never pickup WiFi, once I'd sorted that, then I'd needed to reinstall the app on my phone to get it to work. like I needed to a factory restore, only then did I begun to get it to print a paper I needed EVERYTIME!

Yesterday, when it wouldn't do that, and I snapped.... As did the printer. I went Bruce Lee on its ass.

TO confirm, it wasn't this model hp printer.

Your patio needs re-laying, it’s so uneven

We have this printer (or very similar previous model) it's not very reliable, WiFi issues, easily clogged up, and now refuses to print colour.

Agreed, particularly if you only use them occasionally. However I cant fault my Ricoh SP 211 A4 Mono Laser Printer. Agreed it is only mono and can only print on one side, but it always works! Cheap ink too. I would love to find a reliable colour printer as I enjoy photography and printing my own pics, but I have wasted so much money on inkjet's over the years and thrown so many of them away I have completely lost faith in them. By the way of the one's I have had cannon have been the best by a country mile .

Job well done!
and it's wonderful to see you still had the courtesy to keep it in the box

I asked the 'One Armed Bruce Leeroy' to do a number on my frustrating printer....... only cost me £10 and a spliff.
money well spent i think.

haha.... ah, we're just playing!

The printer itself is rubbish and your are really only paying for the ink under subscription. I wouldn't buy this printer at any price. Get something better and something where you don't have to rent the ink.

If you print regularly and often then renting the ink may be beneficial, but it is only a deal if you pay the rip off rates for original ink. I only buy compatible inks for 1/10th the price and no noticeable difference in quality.

Isn't the ink really pricey though? I'm looking for a replacement for a faulty Epson printer.

I've had infuriating experiences with these too, all they are good at is printing pages and pages of instructions and settings out when trying to reconnect for the hundredth time. Normal routine is an hour of frustration shouting at the stupid plastic thing, then give up and go and pay 5p to print the item at the local library, return home to find its now decided to print 6 of the same thing off as soon as you've turned your back.

I hope that all the above printer bashing is being done to Still by the Geto Boys!!

I agree with Ian - I had 3 faulty HP printers in swift succession and then gave up and switched back to Canon.

If you’re not bothered about the Wi-fi printing then Argos are doing this one for £19.99 including ink cartridges.

When people buy printers DO THIS:

Check the price of ink refills. more often the the cost of refills is more than the cost of the printer..

As most the inks supplied by companies are are just enough to get you started as most the ink is used up on first start up

The best thing to do is to buy the Genuine Canon XL High Capacity ink which gives a page yield of 3.3 and 2.2 x of the original two cartridges. Furthermore only change the carts when you are dissatisfied with printing quality - not as soon as the yellow light comes on.

It's probably uneven due to all of the HP printers landing on it after being thrown out of the upstairs window ...
