Good spot, plus you'll get better cashback with TCB/Quidco at HP compared to Currys.

Different serial number
Be aware that HP recently started locking down their printers so they refuse to work with any non-HP brand ink. They use an encrypted chip, so it's impossible to work around. So only buy if you're happy paying 3x for your ink to be HP branded.

On the market HP inks are the cheapest, compare with Cannon, Brother, Epson ..
By the way if you need some quality, you should keep HP ink anyway.
But the replacement original Hp ink for the module above is around 25£, which gives roughly 200 pages (black&colour)

Not cheap compared to other ink you can get, or even just refills of HP cartridges! Which also now won't work as page count is in their encrypted chips.
I was using a full set of remanufactureds that cost £31, and print quality was absolutely fine. Now my printer refuses to print with them and a full set from HP costs £84 (in a sale!).
£25 for 200 pages is VERY expensive! 12.5p per page! 8 pages costs you a pound!..

If your printer is Instant-Ink-compatible, it costs just 4p/page if you choose the £1.99 for 50pages/month package: instantink.hpconnected.com/uk/…z23 & has an up to 100pages rollover

If you print far less, the 15pages/month package is completely free - many low users have been on it for a few years without spending a penny.
tnx op reserved one to pick up local Curry's

4p/page doesn't sound like a lot, but over the lifetime of the printer (say 5 years), even at the very low output of 50 pages a month, that's £119.4. Compared to about £25 in non-HP brand ink. Almost £100 premium, far more than the savings on the printer itself.

This happened to me. So FREAKIN annoyed! now I have a full refilled ink that I can't use (and I won't buy another HP)
