I think this price is superb for a Ryzen 5 cpu. Desktop PC AMD Ryzen 5 8GB RAM.1TB+128GB SSD WiFi Win 10. In fact i am thinking of buying it for my home use. Before the so called experts pile in this is not a gaming desktop. Not quite as good a deal as my last post on Ebay but still amazing deal.

Would be even better if this was new rather than refurbished.

However, first thing to do is tell Windows10 to store all your documents/pics etc on the 1TB disk so you don't run out of space on the C: drive in a couple of weeks :-)

Or £356 for 2TB version (add your own ssd). ebay.co.uk/itm…486
(EDIT. but only 90 day warranty)

That looks like great value for money.
This is refurbished Grade A but its got a 12 month warranty which is unusual for a refurbished pc.

Should really say in the title. But I guess "laptop outlet" gives the game away :-)

Bad advice ... Buy a new car but dont use it as you'll clock up miles ?
Clint eastwood , "Dont wear that heavy Iron vest, you'll sweat Buckets" , How would that have turned out ? eh?
Keep everything on the SSD till it fills up , then add another.

Its far from bad advice. It's very good advice. Your mileage may vary but don't knock it.

Wrong, documents and pics are going to load just as fast from a HDD as they would on an SSD (ok maybe about 10 milliseconds difference).

If he had said applications on the standard hdd then..

There are many flaws with this system:

- Used when you can get new for this price.
- Slow RAM, only 2666 MHz
- SSD is a little small by todays standards.
- Only single channel memory (and only 2 memory slots)
- 180W PSU limits adding a GPU at a later date.
- No doubt a A320 MB so no overclocking.
- Only 1 year warranty.

Not a great deal, would be better with hotukdeals.com/dea…097 for £289.99 (or £40 extra for 1TB HDD and £55 extra for 2TB HDD) - You could add an additional 8GB RAM and 1TB Storage and still be cheaper.

It's new, has double the SSD size and infinitely more upgradable.

Seems expensive to me, and that's based on new prices!

2nd hand, lack of upgrade potential.....i'm really not seeing any positives to it.
The box deal that Gormond links to that's posted by Sarden84 is so much better.

You can configure the pc to what you actually want, it's NEW and has 3 years warranty.

I really think this deal getting hot misleads people who don't know much about computers. I'd be be interested in why people think this deal is good?

Not everybody wants to do it that way and play games.

What's games got to do with anything? It's a poor deal for a poor item.

It's not even the cheapest deal on a like for like basis as the same item is on ebay for just over £370 today......so i really don't get why anyone is voting this hot.

ebay.co.uk/itm…But

I think most people are capable of plugging in a USB pen and clicking next a few times, it's not difficult and doesn't take long.

Also it makes the PC faster as you don't get all the crap that manufacturers like HP put on it.
