Just read the review here: notebookcheck.net/HP-…tml

Decided to order although I prefer 13.3". Let's see if it turns up...
    Missed this.:(
Decent laptops. I have one for work. I find the mouse quite annoying as it's virtual buttons on the touch pad. Takes a lot of getting used to from any laptop which has actual buttons
    cashback available too?
Good luck if you get this OOS now
Ordered (before OOS)! Looks good. Thanks flash2k!

Why it is so expensive?! amazon.co.uk/HP-…-21

There is nothing special apart of 4G in it. XPS 13 kills in in every dept. for half of the price.
Thanks. OP! Let's see if it turns up! I thought I'd missed it - even tried to get 30% off though NUS extra but was back up to RRP by then....

nothing special apart from it being an i7

    It's a 2 core 4 threads i7. Glorified i3?
thanks flash2k , ordered one , hope they will honour it.
It says OOS on the website, but I called them up and placed an order over the phone. Too good to let go. Thanks OP.

i7, 5500 GPU, backlit keyboard, full HD (1080), 4G mobile, good battery life. Ticked all my boxes.

Not sure if joking so I'll assume not.

Standard practice for on-line sales contracts means that the contract is only accepted by the seller once they have dispatched the item NOT when you pay.

It's scummy but its how they avoid situations like this

ones money debited from your account thus a contract was formed

HP reserves the right to cancel any accepted order prior to delivery, at HP's discretion (whether or not payment was made), and this in case of any material errors in connection with your order, the price or other conditions published in the HP Business Store relevant for your order, or if any further verification of your credit conditions or records so warrants. If payment was made and your order is cancelled, HP will issue an appropriate credit to your account (or may contact you to collect information in order to do so).

Yes, aside from the rare quad-core i7s, on mobile (especially 'U' parts) i7 doesn't mean much aside from Intel charging more.
No the 'special part' is that this is an HP Elitebook and the Folio is probably the most premium thin Elitebooks at that (despite this sharing the chassis with the Elitebook 840 G1/G2). I know on HUKD build quality doesn't count for much, but as far as ultrabooks go this and the Elitebook 820/840/850 are very well build and are probably the best business-class ultrabooks. Certainly the nice trapdoor and the fact that they have two SoDIMM slots (are you taking note Lenovo?) all in such a thin chassis is quite an achievement.
