My first post guys..

Found this deal, although refurbished... i thought this was one amazing deal! Its a laptop that is worth around £1100 when brand new.

The spec is terrible for refurbished plus the price. Although it's i7, it only has a 320GB hard drive and an ATI 4830....

I'd be worried about buying a £700 refurb... i know it's a beautiful machine, but i get the impression it is flawed with HP/compaq inability to make a reliable machine

HP have one on offer for comparison. 8% Quidco.

You might want to include some details of the spec. in the title (along with "£price @ currys"), and a more detailed listing of the spec. in the description - otherwise I can see this going nowhere but cold.

Also deal price shouldn't include quidco.
BUT, it should include the SALES6 discount code (6% off anything £500 or over, plus free delivery)

I work that out to be £704.99 with discount code, and an extra £21 cashback possible through quidco.

It's a good spec for the price, however I think you might get a lot of cold votes because people don't like buying relatively expensive laptops that are refurbished.

:edit:

Btw, hot from me. (though i fear the deal is beyond redemption now =/)

The HD 4830 is a very respectable GPU.

That model is a completely different (and massively inferior) spec.

Currys are the worst company to deal with if things go wrong too! I would steer clear!

Dont buy anything reburbed from Currys......

Pourquoi?

I had one of these for a while, they really are a lovely design and probably the closest laptop out there that can compete with Apple in the looks category, HOWEVER, be warned these machines suffer from a major heat issue, check google for details. This is why they were removed from widespread sale not very long after they were released!
Great look, great spec, just a real shame they couldn't solve the heat issue.
