The maximum capacity of the battery will naturally decrease with time and usage. See bapco.com/pro…14/ for additional details.
[5] Recharges your battery up to 50% within 45 minutes when the system is off (using “shut down” command). Recommended for use with the HP adapter provided with the notebook, not recommended with a smaller capacity battery charger. After charging has reached 50% capacity, charging speed will return to normal speed. Charging time may vary +/-10% due to System tolerance. Available on select HP products. See store.hp.com for a full list of product features.

Performance and clock frequency will vary depending on application workload and your hardware and software configurations. AMD’s numbering is not a measurement of clock speed.
[7] Max Boost clock frequency performance varies depending on hardware, software and overall system configuration.
[10] Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 150 nits brightness, system audio level at 17%, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached, wireless on but not connected. Actual battery life will vary depending on configuration and maximum capacity will naturally decrease with time and usage.

John Lewis are selling this for 95p more but you get the extra year warranty. I have the 15" model and it is a great laptop

I would avoid this laptop, the fan is shocking and nearly always on and if you dare move it makes a rattling sound. Would I buy it at this price no. And originally I paid £800+

I disagree. I have this since last December, it feels very sturdy till today. The fan used to be on all the time but after a couple of updates can barely hear it.

I feel like you might be a lucky one, sadly I have all the updates and now a 3rd party app running. It feels nice in my hands and is sturdy I will give you that, and great for desktop stuff but the tablet modes useless to me due to the fan rattle on movement

I'll be returning it if I were if its still under warranty? The fan rattling is not acceptable mate.

How does this laptop charges? Like the old laptop brick chargers or like a phone? Thanks

Would go for this if it wasn’t for the noise and overheating issues everyone complains about...ticks every other box for me
I have this too and love it. Battery life no where near what's claimed but runs nicely and tent mode is handy to watch a movie with minimal space on a train or plane. I had high fan use initially but bios updates have helped and I run a Chrome extension to reduce resources used with multiple tabs open. Lack of HDMI not too bad as they needed to do that to make it so compact. I like it and this is a great price. Heat added.

Well, it’s AMD Ryzen so obviously it doesn’t. And Intel is packed with security flaws (your other complain) so I wonder what you’re using?
