Save yourself time and money with the HP Instant Ink replacement service. Decide from one of the monthly plans, that are based on pages printed not cartridges used. Your printer will simply use the Internet to let HP know when to send more ink. Unused pages will roll into your next month as its designed to make sure you get the most out of your printer (for example, in the 50 page plan, up to 50 unused pages can roll into the next month, giving you a maximum of 100 pages for that month).

I have the earlier 3050A all in one and have been very pleased with it. Prints from absolutely anywhere. Easy to setup on multiple devices including Android phone and tablets. Scanning works a treat especially with Windows 10 scan drivers. Inks same as this one, can find very cheap replacements if prepared to keep a lookout in advance.

Damn it...been looking for a cheap printer for last month and just ordered the Ricoh £14.99 deal a couple of days ago!!!!

Still no good for occasional users. I would end up with 500 pages in the bank that I had paid for but would never use. It's only any good for heavy users really.

I rarely use my printer, is there any way to stop the ink drying up the 1-2 times/year that I do need to use it?

How to order it for free? Or you didn't post delivery in your post?

no free delivery anymore unfortunately by the look of it.

£5.86 for delivery is a bit much

yes shame delivery is back on!

These are the stats for my Officejet 6670, it doesn't suffer from dried ink as every time you turn it on it squirts half a cartridge of ink through the nozzles to clean them. You can't stop it, even if you want to just scan a document.

Good question, I bought the HP 3050A a few years ago after a deal came up on this site. I used it a handful of times and then didn't use it for ages. The Ink dried out and you are looking at around £35-50 quid to replace both cartridges when the original printer cost £35. I think I will get a laser printer instead as the toner doesn't go dry. You may need to give the cartridge a shake though if you don't use it for a while.

expired, it's £49.98 now
