Just wondering if anyone has purchased this printer? Looking at buying a decent printer this week. Would appreciate any feedback
I bought this printer a couple of months ago, very pleased with it, I especially like the monthly ink plan and the four month trial helps you figure out which plan is best for you.
Please, Could any one give more info about 4 month free trial of HP Instant Ink.

decent idea but I barely print 10 pages a month let alone the minimum 50.

Bought it a few weeks ago from John Lewis. Serves our purpose for printing kids homework and past test papers. A little slow however does the job.

£80 cashback, 3 year warranty. Cheap to run too. Top notch reviews from pro mags.

can anyone tell me good laser printer please
Full set of compatible inks for under a tenner Here but you can buy them separately (black usually runs out the fastest)

I have one of these and love it. There's even an app and I can print emails etc from my mobile. The free ink idea is great. Sign up to the most pages allowed for the free months and then change subscription to a lower amount once the free trial is up. I think they charge £1 for every 20 pages you go over but the amount used can be checked on your account on their website.
Good deal , are they any good deals with fax Aswell with a printer ??

If you print a lot of A4 colour prints it's a bargain!

I think you can roll over pages, up to a maximum of 50. So even if you do minimal printing you would still have a sizeable cap to work with if needs be.

Can you rollover the unused pages not printed, say 300 pages x4 for the free trial?
can you cancel the subscription for free ink after the free months?

i would not be using it a great deal but could do with a decent printer and would be more than happy to buy non official cartridges to refill as when required
I have this printer and am really pleased with it. I managed to get 6 months free when Curry's are doing a promotion but it was £5 dearer. I have signed up to the most expensive plan, which is £7.99 per month and will cancel this just before it runs out to go down to the lowest one. Good thing is whatever you don't use is carried over to the next month. Easy ink means that I can print everything I want in colour and with the best setting available, including photos, as you are only charged for how many sheets it outputs, not the quality of the print. With this you never have to buy ink again and at £24 per year on the minimum contact it is a steal.

I have used the easy ink plan for over a year now and I think it's a fantastic idea. You never run out of ink and you certainly don't have to shell out what seems like a fortune for replacement ink cartridges at the most inconvenient times. The roll over is limited to your monthly printing plan, i.e. I am on the 100 page a month plan and if I don't print anything this month next month I will have my new month's 100 sheets plus last months unused 100 prints. The next month if I didn't print anything the previous two months I will still only have 200 possible pages. Therefore you can only ever carry over your agreed plan maximum. Hope this explains how it works. As already stated you can monitor your usage in you Easy Ink account, you can change your plan as you wish, when you wish. I would recommend it to anyone.......

I think it is just the last month's only.
Does this work on 5ghz wifi?

Will search online.
Just had it delivered but the box says includes one month free instant print. Have they sent the wrong one?
Edit: Wrong model - my mistake.

How do you get 4 months free then?
Can anyone help me with setting up the instantink trial? On the leaflet in the box it says activate it during printer setup, but it didn't give me the option to. Unless I should've pressed 'More' instead of 'Finish' at the end. Do I need to factory reset and start again? Thanks

Thanks, at least it comes with wifi direct and Apple print. 2 things I need.
I've sorted our 4 month free trial now. Just had to go on the instant ink website and choose 1 of the 3 monthly plans, and then because our printer had already connected to their network it knew that we were due a 4 month trial Wohooo X)

Once you've set the printer up and created your HP Connected account you just choose a monthly plan on the website and it will know you're due a free trial
