Hi how many referal codes can you enter ? Only one or more than one?
I got 14 months by using 2 codes. Does any one know how to increase the prints from 300 to 700/month as there was no other option just 300 maximum

It depends which link you went through, given them a call tomorrow 0207 660 6027 and they can probably do it for you over the phone
So if you have 10 referal codes can i enter all 10 to get 10 extra months?

no. one.
Thanks, OP. Got one last week. Took me 7 hours to set up...if you have a BT 6 hub, disconnect 'smartconnect' in your router settings, or it will have issues asigning an ip address to the printer.
Also, create a new account to sign up for instant ink, if you want to use referals. If you replace or add the printer to an existing account, the codes will not work, although you woll still get the 12 months free ink.

Of course you get 1 years worth a free ink, because you’re going to be taken to the cleaners once you have to start buying your own at £12 per cartridge.

Superb printer. Ordered on amazon last week. Super simple to set up and the app is great.

How do you get ink then? I don't know anything about these instant ink printers. I'm still using a printer where I buy 3rd party ink cheap on Ebay. How does instant ink work please?
They send you the ink once you're running out. You pay whatever monthly pay charge you want and they send you the ink free when you run out.

Well throw it away then, at that point you've gotten way better vfm than any other method of printing!
the 5010 on amazon has the same deal and is newer by 20 months, is there any reason not to go for the 5010?not being funny just i want a affordable wireless printer thanks
Is the free ink based on actual ink levels or pages printed?

You pick which plan you would like, i do the 300 pages a month so i can print 300 pages a month for free, when the cartridge gets to a certain level they send out new ones so you never run out, it's based on pages printed not the ink levels but the ink level dictates when they will send you a new one out.
I picked this up a few days ago but haven't set it up yet, it was posted on here a few days ago which is why i bought it my old printer was instant ink but ran out of free ink 5 months ago and the printer wasn't great!
I'm going to set this one up using my Mum's details

I was going to buy this printer, after reading the following post, I’m not sure the ‘free ink’ is for me

Read - Plenty of info on here on how it all works etc.

Yeah, because it does them out of earning any money, their maths doesn't work either, it's still based on a base coverage of page, not if you want to print full colour pages for example.

Same printer, no difference just a model change for the infoamtion that is on the outside and inside the box with the variations to instant ink.

It is only available on the 300 plan, not the 700 plan, as this has been tweaked now from HP's end, the 700 is only available to OfficeJet and OfficeJet Pro customers, if you manage to get onto the registration page and find the 700 page, you are lucky, grab it because it will be going.

You can change instant ink plan to 700 prints per month on the hpconnect account page after registering for instant ink under the manage ink tab. I successfully changed it to 700 prints plan today and it is still showing free for 14 months. Yes it doesn't show during registration only post registration.
What codes are working please

Except it does. Name another printer which you can buy and print 300-500 full-colour A4 photo pages a month for 12-13mths, and which apart from the paper will only cost you £40?

(At most you're get ~100 A4 full colour photo pages from a regular inkjet cartridge, so that's 3 to 5 fresh cartridges a month you're need of 'quality ink'. Multiply by 12 = at least 36 cartridges. 36 cartridges for a comparable printer will cost you.....? With instant ink it costs £0.)

On the other hand if you're only going to print 10-20 pages of text a month then yes, instant ink isn't so attractive.

It maybe for a bit longer as I explained. It’s a glitch that is being sorted out so the 700’page option will be disappearing and will not be an option from the 3rd of June on anything but the OfficeJet range.

Whoops, forgot you in fact get 15 pages a month after the year, for the life of the printer, for free. So, high or very low usage = absolute bargain; in between, then do the maths!

(Of more concern IMO should be if the image quality is sufficient for your needs)
Just reserved one to collect at shop, still get the free ink?

I did thanks, ended up with 14 months and went for the 700 pages option, my daughter is home schooled so it'll more than come in handy

I think you cannot downgrade to 15 pages/month free after the offer period ends if i recollect it correctly reading through the terms and conditions !

Hi
I have used my Instant ink trial for 14 months (300 pages) and then downgraded to 15 pages/ month (free). You need to talk to customer service and just say that your circumstances has changed and you dont need to print more pages anymore. Request politely and they will do it for you.
Inkjet is a dead technology. LaserJet are the only printers worth buying.
It does make that 33 page per minute colour laser I bought for £50 seem like good value: when they can still hawk these inkjets for pretty much the same price.

Millipede, excuse me for sounding stupid but what is this base coverage of page?

Thanks
