£29 for 2 years' worth of printing. Deal.
Paying £3.49 now for 100 pages a month, cheaper to throw away that printer and get this

What's it like for photo printing ?
Won’t go through at checkout
I managed to snap one up just in time by the looks of things. Item is now showing up as out of stock. Thanks OP!
HP confirmed cashback one day after submitting the claim. Now need to wait for Just Eat and Quidco payout (another £11 off).
£18 for 26 months free printing is absolute steal.

If they come back in stock can someone explain how the 2 year ink works ? Do they send you what would normally use 100 page per month for 2 years or do you actually have to print that many off to then let your printer tell HP how many it has printed...

Try FREEINK to add a extra month, not sure if still working ..
Showing as OOS.
OOS

I've never done this instant ink thing and have always been worried about the monthly fees and that your then stuck with them whenever. What's the best options and is it really worth it?

Cheers
I prefer to buy ink as I need it rather than the monthly ink subscription. It is a way to stop you buying ink from other sources rather than the more expensive genuine ink. I don't use my printer that much as I can print off at work (obviously not at the moment!). Epson keep emailing me to turn my printer into subscription mode by a software update but I say no. The printer also pops up a message to say I am not using genuine ink. No issues to date.
Out of stock! Heat for the find.

You can register your email address on the item's webpage to get an alert when it's back in stock. Got an alert a few evenings ago and managed to get one, as did several others on another HukD thread. Thread
Anyone know whether this has a date that the offer has to be claimed by?

I've been using instant ink now for about 2 years on the 100 page plan. The household isn't not a heavy user and I've never been charged more that the 3.49 a month. At times the kids do quite a bit of printing in a particular month but you're allowed to carry over prints up to a maximum of 200(I think) pages so that's not a problem. The printer I had before this was a nuisance having to source and order ink which was usually unofficial refilled cartridges. These would dry before they were done and so it ended up really expensive to use the printer. Now the ink is top quality and it's sent straight out to you before you need it. It's a brilliant scheme.

Printer connects to internet. Printer itself tracks how many pages you print every calendar month and feeds this back to HP, who will bill you a 0-quid bill (if you are within your allowance). Cartridges are XXL ones, which last for a good while. When it runs low you get an automatic delivery of fresh ones. That should explain it.

They put a credit on your 'instant ink' account for 2 years worth of 100 pages/month subscription. You can increase/decrease this to fit so you could end up with less/more time based on your subscription.
Not expired. Also at John Lewis for 99p more. You could put yourself on the waiting list for both and hopefully get one before the end of April.

Well I tried to unexpire it but it tells me I'm not allowed to. Meh
Hi just to add, I'm quite sure u can get non subscription carts and use them if you think your going to go over, then just swap back. That plus the rollover makes it pretty good. Think it was in there t & c's. I'd double check tho.

How did everyone get the £20 Just Eat voucher?
I’ve just looked at claiming the just eat voucher and it is now saying the printer isn’t on the list of qualifying printers. Anyone else found this?

Yes - it wasn't ever on the list of qualifying printers on the HP claim site. Currys have now removed mention of the voucher - it was there all last month, so not just a temporary error. @Currys_PCWorld need to explain how they will honour the offer as it was part of the deal that people bought.
Hi, does anyone have any screenshots showing the just eat offer. I’ve queried this with the claims people and they are asking for proof the £20 voucher was offered with the Envy 5050

@Un0ri back in stock if you want to reactivate/repost. Just ordered, cheers. Needed a printer for home schooling
(guessing no Just Eat voucher now though...)
