Can’t find out how many pages are free per month

On a previous thread someone posted it as 300 pages on here. I didnt specify it as I wouldn't be able to confirm until I've got mine.

Yous just sign up to the maximum amount then reduce when the free period ends. Was 300 pages per month when i did it last year.
Initially start with 300 pages per month and on last month of trial downgrade your package for 15 pages per month for £0.00/month. Yes it is free plan .... Enjoy!!!!!

With HP Instant ink you don't need to buy ink cartridges for your printer. Your printer will order it for free.

Point 17e of the Instant ink terms would seem to disagree:

No Downgrades. If a Participant upgrades an Enrolled Printer from the Free Printing Plan Program to a paid Service Plan (an “Upgraded Printer”), the Participant may not subsequently downgrade the Upgraded Printer in order to return to the Free Printing Plan Program. Additionally, a Participant may not downgrade a printer from a paid Service Plan to the Free Printing Plan Program.

but it's good to know that it worked for you. I will try when the free trial ends.

The free printing plan allows you to print 15 pages per month at no cost (paper and internet connection not included) for the life of your printer. Overage pages are excluded and will be charged to customer credit/debit card at the end of the month at a rate of £1 per each additional set of 10 pages (customer to be charged £1 for each set even if customer doesn’t use entire set). HP reserves the right to modify or cancel the free printing plan anytime on 60 days notice. This offer cannot be redeemed for cash except as required by law. Additional information available in HP Instant Ink terms at HP Instant Ink Terms of Service.

So what did you do, were you able to downgrade or have you cancelled/rejoined?
I rejoined as at the time of expiry of my plan this free option wasn't started at that time. But you can enrol for free on rejoining for sure!!!!

AFAIK you can only add any codes during set up. However you could try asking HP customer services (online chat) to add codes manually, saying that you forgot at set up - they have done this for me.
Thanks, I have just ordered the printer. But when I entered the voucher code 2MONTHSDJUK at the Currys website it says the code was not recognised.

Rollover doesn't apply to the free plan. You will need to cancel the paid plan to signup for the free plan which will lose any rollover balance
Thx OP, bought and got the 12 months. Already printed 50 glossy pics, intend to print about 3000 pictures by the end of 12 months.

Thank you : )
Mines just arrived, I will set it up in a few days and want to know how to do this in case i mess up first time.

Do I start the 12-month trial after finishing the ink that came with it in the box? or before?

I read on HP instant ink that there are 4 packages.
Does the 12-month trial cover the 300 pages package? or do I pay extra for the 300pages/month?

Select the 300 page one. Because the deal is for a set number of months and not credit, you wouldn’t gain anything from choosing a lower package, even if you print less. You will not be charged extra for the 300 page package

Alright, thanks for the info!
Do you use all of the start up ink first then set up the instant ink trial?
We bought the printer on the 27th; have just gone to set it up, and the Instant Ink free trial in the box says it runs out on the 31st December 2017. No where during set up did it give me any option to do anything more than a 2 month free trial. Anyone else had this today?

Still showing up on Currys website with the 9 month free promo. Might be worth contacting HP webchat. They’ve been quite good with customer service in the past. Hopefully that resolves it and they add on the extra months

Is the free trial still running? I’d like to buy it but only if the free trial is still available as do a lot of printing with my kids

I've set it up today. the 9-months free trial still works. though I'm not sure when it will expire tbh. It says on the card (inside the box) that the offer expires 31/12/2017. So I'm not sure whats that on about.

HP chat assisted me in doing it. Very good customer service and quick responses. extremely pleased.
If you were to do it yourself, then it might be a bit troublesome due to misunderstandings during the setup process. e.g. there wasn't a '9-month trial' option checkbox which puzzled me. Also filling in bank details
seemed like you were going to pay.

but everything went just fine. as long as the billing page states the '9-month trial' is added (as well as the 2 months stated in this thread + 1 month from referrals). its all good.
when did the £5 price drop happen? and do I have to call them up to get the refund?

I just entered the 2montysdjuk code and it says promotion codes cannot be combined? I already have the 9 months displaying as just activated on new envy printer purchased this week. Is there any way if adding the extra months?

Try the live chat option and see if they can manually add it, found them to be quite helpful
Thanks for the advice, strangely after getting the message that I cannot combine codes after entering the code and the message saying only the higher code will be counted. I then went through to the account summary after it was complete and it appears the 9+2 months have both been added making 11 in total?
