This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

An excellent price here for this touchscreen laptop with the powerful and capable AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor, with the multi functional 2 in 1 form factor. The cheapest price I have personally seen it - and no need for student discount or blue light card, for those without access to them.

Just use code PRODUCT5 at checkout to get this for £711.55

If you do have access to blue light or student discount, imo buying direct from Hewlett Packard for £720 is still probably a bit better, as last time I looked it included a 3 year support pack as part of the price.

Hope this deal helps some people

You would have to be a right dingbat to spend that amount of money for something like this.

That's because you're a twonkydonkey... A Pedigree race horse may think differently

Seriously though, I get that it's not for everybody and I'm happy to be a dingbat

Nice form factor, decent display, 2 in 1 might help some, 4500U is a top mobile processor, iGPU is half-decent too... 256gb SSD is miserly and there will be £350-£450 machines with this processor...

I think if it’s just what you are after it’s a good deal, if you are in the market more generally for a laptop it’s a bit expensive compared to a normal machine.
Worth noting it’s a touchscreen model too... again if that’s something someone is after boosts the desirability

Haha... Yea I was a little harsh... Dingbats are the future. In fairness I just don't have dingbat spare cash... Maintaining my family is my future. I hope people find this post useful keep posting. Your reply made me chuckle

Thank you @Nujol and that's a very fair comment - the Ultraportable build on this and the upward firing speakers etc are really nice, but even at this price I accept you are still paying a premium for it compared to some other laptops that offer similar core specs.

FYI this has dropped on the HP site by £50 today to £750 (£675 with student/corporate discount) for those that have access - still has the 3 year care package included too.

Haha... I took it in good spirits and smiled - and glad my reply made you chuckle too . I don't really have dingbat spare cash either these days so I see where you are coming from - however I've reached an upper level of dingbat, where I sometimes just go ahead and buy things I can't really afford! Maintaining your family is the right choice and the noble path. I make some of my income using digital tools and sometimes will pay a bit more for stuff as it helps generate some pennies. All the best!

Agreed. Why do you think they keep having a 256gb SSD in these mid to high range models? It seems a no brainer to move to 512gb as standard... 256 is potentially going to fill up with your frequent apps plus some media and games. My Zenbook from 3 years ago has a 512gb SSD! And it’s up to 400gb used without too much effort.
Good deal. Nice laptop in general!

Buying an i3 MacBook Air for £1000 is being a dingbat. Not this.

i3 MacBook Airs hold their resale value much much better than the vast majority of Windows machines. A dingbat is one who does not consider the entire cost of ownership for a product.

You're missing the point in your own content .... Resale. You'll be reselling a MacBook well before you need to resell this.

Doubt it. Windows machines are notorious for slowing and breaking down far sooner than the average MacBook. You don't see many people using 7-9 year old Windows laptops at all but MacBooks of the same age are fairly common.
Got this on one of the last deals, it's a lovely laptop. Performance wise I can't see me having any issues. It runs lightroom with ease and I've been playing GTA5 on it which looks great. I've also put an SD card in to boost the storage. The size and form factor make it a pleasure to use.

I've got this and it's lush!

Still would not give my money to Currys at the moment tho - I've hard nothing good about their customer services at the moment
Also worth noting that these do not appear to charge over USB-C, which makes me sad
It actually does charge by USB-C but hp seem to have made it difficult.. It will charge when powered down (not sleep) using seemingly any power source, I've had it charging from my samsung phone charger and an old power bank but HP seem to have restricted what will charge it when powered on. I got a RAVPower 60w powerbank the other day and although slightly temperamental it does charge the laptop and quickly too. I have also seen a YouTube video where someone has charged it with a ugreen 65w power supply which will be my next purchase.

Haha, thank you @SuperSparky - and I hear ya! A misinterpeted comment, or a difference of opinion on the price or spec of something... And far too many people quick to try and 'virtually' rip the other persons head off. We're here to share, and not every deal is for everyone - and that's okay But by being a part of this community we get to take advantage of the deals that apply to us, and share the deals we think are decent in the knowledge there might be at least a few people that appreciate them!

I have two of these in the house not with the same spec but with touchscreen and 7th gen i5.....it is amazing but i bought them 2 years old for £460 for both...13" screen feels so much better than the 14"/15" for browsing door cam tv control etc etc but then again i do not use it for games....
