Ya these kind of finds always end in 97p generally means they aint got em, a phantom product to get interest on site and the hope you buy something else (so the cynics say):whistling:

North East, North West and Yorkshire.....NONE. Just a suggestion, but it could be worth checking to see if a product exists for sale before posting.

Just put your post code in the sites stock finder, you will get around a 50 mile radius of stores stock availability.

i tried oldham, stockport and leeds myself, but because it said instore, i thought it may be worth a try for some people. i remember the 20gb xbox HDs i couldt find none but some people could, thought it was kinda the same thing. anyway thanks for tipping me off

The real "Bady" here isn't you mate, it's PC World who play these games all the time. Their sister shops, Currys and Dixons do the same. :x

this was my first deal and prob my last of pc world, unless they have something good with online stock aswell. thanks

No stock in the Midlands... so cold, sorry.

Why do people vote cold on these deals? The OP found a good deal imo. There will be a few of these floating about in a couple of stores somewhere. I know its frustrating as most people wont be able to get one, but if you go to your local store you might get lucky and find one on a clearance desk. Just look at the graphics card on here a couple of weeks ago. I didnt get one but some people did and it was a very good clearance deal.
Would you rather that people didnt put these deals on here, then nobody would know about them. If they are posted then at least a lucky few may be able to get one from their local store.

Also never trust their website to see if your local store has a clearance deal (ending in 97p) in stock. The only way to find out is by popping in to the shop a having a look. (I know that this isnt practical for a lot of people)

a price ending in .97 signifies clearance for DSGi. Very likely no stock in the chain - however there will sometimes be odd ones in shops e.g. in the back of the stock room, so its always worth checking
