Heavily reduced product. The PDA itself usually retails for more than this, never mind the integrated GPS receiver and the ViaMichelin software.

Supersaver delivery incurs no charge and there is quidco as well.

Probably because it is not as well understood as the Tomtom One offering. Whilst there is no disputing the value of the hardware I reckon nobody knows if the ViaMichelin software is any good.

I have a web site which sells some portable Sat Nav systems. However I do think that there is a lack of good information/product reviews of the pros/cons of the various systems. The magazines don't really tell the whole truth if it might prejudice thier advertising revenue.

I have personal experience of using Tomtom 5, Road Angel Navigator, Road Angel Navigator 6000, Road Angel Navigator 7000 and Snooper Indago. I can tell you there are marked differences between these products - some of them are dreadful in terms of ease of use, routing accuracy, processing speed, handling reflections etc etc......

I have bought one of these RX1950, as well as a Talex Navigon 7000 (which we are considering reselling). My intention is to write up a detailed review and SatNav buying guide with a detailed insight into how all of these products compare. This will be published on my website and (subject to the approval of the moderators) I will let you know where to see this once it has been written.

I will say on the experience I have so far that you can't really go wrong with the Tomtom products - despite how their competitors like to "knock" them.

tomtom 5 and 6 will run on an rx1950 , it main complaint is that it processor is not really upto running skpye at hotspots.
