Even without the £50 cashback, this monitor seems to offer a lot for the price including a DVI input (with the ability to switch between DVI and analogue inputs), adjustable height and pivot (to portrait position, with software to support this), and a USB 2.0 hub. Speakers are extra.

The HP £50 cashback offer on this monitor runs until the end of April. There is a further 2% available via Quidco.

The monitor seems to be too new for any reviews yet.

Found this via the other HP monitor link and I must say this is a quality spot, many thanks Walpurgis

Is this the kind of monitor which I can play a console on etc? Is that what it means by DVI? :-(

Out of stock now

OOS now... worth keeping an eye though. Excellent spot Walpurgis

Why is this now expired, they are still taking orders even thought out of stock so maybe you could still get one?

Now showing 1-2 days stock due!

Out of stock again.

Price now shows up at:

£169.69 inc vat (delivery on top)

Was tempted to order as i have a £10 dabs voucher in my account i havent used for over two years which would have made it £169.54 including delivery and then the £50 back from HP. So would have got it for £120 if the above price sticks.

Thanks to the OP.

OOS for me.

This has now come down to £169.69 - which makes it £129.54 after the cash back (and including delivery). An extremely attractive deal, if this price is correct.

I don't know how this affects people who ordered at the higher price.

Still saying stock is due in 1-2 days.

You would pay the price you paid at checkout when you ordered most likley.

Im currently speaking with a dabs rep to see if ordered now even though its showing out of stock that they will send when they get stock of it in.

What an amazing deal. I run with 2 monitors and currently use 2 17" LG DVI monitors, have been considering replacing them with 19" or 20" for some time.

I went to see the price listed at £169, then I should bget £50 back from HP. Then I got £20 off with a dabs voucher on my account, then quidco.
So my order has been processed at £332 for 2 monitors. 2% quidco reduces that to £319. I'll get £100 back from HP so £220. Then I'll eBay my old monitors (which still have some warranty) - maybe Ill get £80 each for those.

Net result I've substantialy upgraded my set up for £60. I can't quite believe it!! Stunning. Voted HOT HOT HOT.

A top buy at £169.69 with £50 cashback and Quidco cashback. I've gone for one. The contrast ratio could be a little better but, at this price, it's a no brainer!

Many thanks to Walpurgis.

Can we change the description of this deal to show that the final price from Dabs is £129.54 including P&P (£9.95) and the £50 cashback.

This is a fantastic deal !!!!

(I really wish my Dell 19" TFT would die, so I could justify buying one...)

Done. I didn't check the math so I hope you're right!

Ive just ordered one aswell for a computer im building to replace my Laptop. This screen on PC World Busniess is £223.20

I will have paid £119.54 after i get my £50.00 rebate from HP due to having a £10 voucher in my dabs account for some reason. So thats a saving of over £100 pounds!!!

Sorry for sounding dumb but could I play consoles using this, bcuz if I can I really wanna buy this one.

Yeah I also had a discount voucher waiting for me - for £20! Brings the whole deal in (after cashback) for just under £110. What an amazing bargain!!! Thanks to the OP.

I had 3 by the looks of it, £10 off £75, £20 off £150 (which I used) and £50 off £750. All set to expire 28/02/07. I havn't used Dabs for a good year or so, so these must be some kind of incentive from them. Was a nice suprise to see them there! :-D

The only thing that worries me about getting a new TFT monitor is the whole "dead pixels" thing. Finger crossed... I wonder what HP's policy is... I'll have to look that up.

does it come with all leads, DVI cable etc?

does it come with all leads, DVI cable etc?

Yes it comes with both DVI and VGA cables

Hmm the model is L2045W

Yet in the PDF from DABS site the only shows cash back ofers on :-

RB145AT
EF227AT
EF224AT

Supposedly it only comes with the VGA (D-SUB) and not the DVI cable.

Where are you basing your information on?

They are the manufacturing codes. Also the PDF lists both the model number and the manufacturs code next to each other.

Also the dabs site shows the mfr code as below:

mfr#: RB145AT#ABU

So it does match up and im sure Dabs wudnt contemplate saying you can get cash back when you cant as they will get a load of returns i suspect

If you look at the form again, HP 2045w 'product name' is the RB145AT 'product number' so this should count

You're looking at the product number, not the product name (in the left hand column). You can get £50 off the L2045W and the L2065 and £60 off the L2465 (if you want a 24-inch screen).

Now I am a little miffed at this. When I raised my order about 4pm today, the price I recieved was - Price inc VAT : £168.80 (no stock)

Now I looked at this item online just now, and it's gone down to £153.64 inc vat, and claims stock in 1-2 days.

I have emailed Dabs about this... Anyone else had problems like this before?

Dabs dont do the cash back, HP do. You fill out their form and send it to HP... then pray.

total comes as £172 for me? any ideas?

Just tipped me over on this great offer - ordered as well. I have a good quality 19" 4:3 LCD to sell now...

As many have said before, this site may not have a subscription but it is really expensive!!!!!!!!!

Spoon thumbs what did ur total come out as?

Thanks OP, great find for a great price, just hope it's a great monitor too!

Came to £169 + pp for me, with 1 - 2 days wait, now showing 3 - 5 days.

Either way great stuff there johnyb seem to maybe catch at a moment it was reduced again

SkippyDoo you dont get the £50 extra off untill you send a letter to HP to get the cashback. So you will have to pay the £179 then claim the rest back
