Fair enough, price updated....

Got a brilliant new i7 Lenovo laptop last week for £449 from AO on the deal posted here.

So with that being said, I'm voting this a Freezing COLD!

This one will be like 5 times faster to boot than yours due to SSD drive, not a bad deal IMHO.

This has the 7th gen i5 which is slightly better than the 6th gen i7 in the U range. Coupled with SSD this laptop will be plenty quicker, HOT!

Will that be more for less even ? (6th vs 7th gen processor and this one better battery life ?) Maybe the Lenovo had integrated VGA ? Cant remember...

got it earlier when it was at a good price. Will just sell the 2TB and that will make up for it. sorted.

Rancid colour this mind....

Seems like a great deal for a 7th gen i5 which is performance wise the same as a last gen i7 just be wary the display even though it's 1080p isn't IPS it's SVA which is better than a TN panel but from what I saw in store it's in the middle between the standard 768p HP display and the IPS on the Lenovo yoga 510 deal posted here last week

Sorry I don't think this is a deal, it's only £20 off the normal price, and the spec is on par with other £500 laptops.

Throw in a 1Tb HD + SDD, or 3 year warranty then maybe hot....

SAVE £20
WAS £519

I got a hp envy 13 with the same specs and it's sufficient for daily use

Just got one of these thanks! Got an extra 2% with an online code via Google in case Quidco doesn't work. Great spec hoping it lasts longer than my Zenbook that blew up after 3 weeks!

Really? I've struggled to find many laptops under £500 with SSD, Full HD, i5, 8Gb ram. Maybe I've missed some of the deals then as most I've seen around that price are missing at least 1 thing from that list, usually the full HD screen.

amazon.de had all you want above for Eur549 yesterday, 1 left now 608 but price may fall back again. I bought lenovo with 16GB Hybrid for Eur578 we don't even get offered this from lenovo UK

Sounds good at the cheaper price but does that mean that Lenovo has got a non-uk keyboard layout?

Interesting that this one claims 9 hours battery off a 2-cell but this cheaper similar spec HP with a 4-cell battery and 6th gen i5 only claims 8.25 hours: hotukdeals.com/dea…335

Great find, was just to about order 1 but says out of stoch now

Purple one is still in stock.

Hi how much memory does this laptop have? I am looking for 1tb

These HP's are pretty good value. I've got a couple of them over the past while. The only thing that is REALLY annoying about them is the unified chassis/body. You cant open up the back easily to add/change RAM, change SSD/HDD, etc.
